It had a nice view of a cemetery and has a Golden Coral next door. The "disco" lights outside were a nice touch and the front desk guy at night was nice, but thats where ill leave it at. This Red Roof was much "different" than all the others we've stayed at.

I am confused. Room had a shower, but there was no way to turn the shower on. Other than that, location was good. Have golden corral right next door and steak place across the street. Room was clean, bed was firm.

The gentleman who checked me in was extremely nice. This is probably the best red roof I’ve stayed in. Rooms were clean and surprisingly had no odor. I stayed at a different property a few weeks ago, and they really had me 2nd guessing if I should book with this property. Overall tonight’s experience reset my opinion on Red Roof. I am high satisfied with my choice in stay tonight.

Rented 2 rooms total, but still ended up sharing one of the rooms between the two guests. One of them was in good condition and the staff at the front desk were great to work with due to travel needs - which is why the rating is still a two star. The rooms were a bit outdated, but that’s workable. However, the other room wasn’t cleaned at all. There was dirt all around the walls, the bathroom floor was dirty, the shower had hair in and around the tub/surround, and the sheets had stains on them.

I would like to start by saying I was not expecting anything luxurious, but finding roaches in the bed headboard area was definitely not what I expected. When I checked in, the front desk associate was polite, and the check-in process was quick and easy. However, after about three hours in the room, I noticed a roach on the wall. Once I started looking around more carefully, I found another on the TV console, one near the edge of the headboard, and later a small roach even walked across my iPad screen while I was using it. I reported it to the staff, and the employee offered me another room, which looked newer, but the overall experience was already very disappointing. I asked about a refund, but they said refunds were not available. I still had to stay two nights, and honestly it was very uncomfortable — I kept waking up and checking around because I was worried about more roaches. This has been the worst experience I have had in a low-budget hotel. There are also people staying here long-term who leave trash outside overnight, which may be contributing to the issue. What concerned me most is that when I reported the roaches, the staff did not seem surprised. One bug can happen anywhere, but seeing four or more feels like a serious cleanliness and health concern. This property really needs inspection and better pest control.

I’ll start by saying I’m VERY easy to please with hotels. I understood booking a smaller hotel in a smaller town wouldn’t be a luxury experience, however this hotel may be one of the worst I’ve stayed at. During my stay there was some construction or renovations happening, that’s not their fault but upon check in there was a sizable leak in the front room. Pros: - Cheap - Bed was decent and I slept well - staff at check in was friendly Cons: - 2/3 of my lamps didn’t work - cracks in ceiling - molding in the bathroom was peeled off. - tub/shower wasn’t clean - towels had black marks on them and folded as new. One towel was torn and frayed like a cat - Wi-Fi was spotty there like 7 networks for the hotel (also wasn’t given password upon check in) - shampoo/soap provided was the barest quality. It honestly seems like the bare minimum is provided to guests and the turn over service is lacking the basics of a hotel. Won’t be staying here again

nothing good about this place. It was nasty. There was hair in the bed and roaches everywhere!! we had to clean the toilet with Lysol wipes our self and buy Lysol spray because it smelled of smoke and it wasn’t supposed to be a smoking room. we should’ve asked for a refund and left, but we had no other choice. The whole town was booked because the bike/car show in gas city. Do not go to this place!!

This property was clean and you could tell recently refurbished. We never recieved the WiFi password and our calls to the front desk at least 2 were picked up and hung up. The floor in our room was soaked when we got there. You could see our shoe and foot prints on the floor and had to use the towels to dry them. The price was okay. The property must have been a motel in the past based on how the rooms were set up.

Immediately upon walking into the bathroom, 4 bugs were seen and multiple other ones during the 2 nights we stayed here were seen. The water in the bathtub would not shut off all the way and dripped constantly, there was a big hole in the bathtub, and the light would randomly turn on 3-4 times in the middle of the night by itself with an annoying beeping at all hours.
