« The cabin is as described - although it is a dry cabin, it offered a lot of little amenities that make it a lot nicer. Yes, the bugs are bad - but you have to expect that in Northern MN. The outhouse was a little overwhelming depending on the time of day - not sure if it’s venting as it should, but that was the only thing that was a disappointment. We had a severe thunderstorm roll in over night, and we were certainly happy to be in a cabin. »

« This place was everything we were looking for for a quiet get away. We enjoyed everything the hosts offered — pontoon, hot tub, kayaks, small rocky beach for kids to be kids and although we were initially shocked there was only one TV in the whole house, we welcomed it as it forced us to think about not being on electronic devices and to instead do campfires and family board games. « The house was perfect. But this lake has no fish in it . We usually end up with loads of fish to take home when on vacation. We had 3 people fishing in our group and they didn’t catch anything. No sunfish, walleyes, grappies, not even a bullhead. »

« Overall loved the cabin and the experience! Luke was VERY responsive and we had everything we needed. The cabin was well equipped with beds & linens, supplies, games, kitchen utensils, an awesome gas grill and Traeger smoker, sauna and a private boat launch. Side note, the pictures were taken with a wide angle lens and they make the space look bigger than it actually is. However, the space is very comfortable and clean! Fun was had by all! We are already considering staying here again for skiing...

« We're on a journey to visit every state park in Minnesota. We decided to come to the this area to celebrate my birthday and Father's day. We couldn't have found a better spot. It was super close to one of the parks and it was very quiet and inviting. Loved the subtle touches in the house and how we had everything we needed availabile to us. Very affordable too!
