There is a coffee shop really close. There are grocery stores right down the street. I grew up in Orlando so I have been coming to Mt Dora for decades. It was so nice to walk right out of my door to enjoy it. Keep in mind that this cottage is a little tight for taller people like me. Just have to pay attention to head clearance ##### Desmond E. I gave 4 stars instead of 5, because there was not a plug outlet in the bathroom. Very hard for 2 women to take a shower & dry hair! (A fold-out cot accommodated an overnight guest, but it was a tight fit.) This attic apartment has a window on each side of the house, and rooms organized in the shape of a cross: the kitchen and eating area at the long end, a large bedroom at the other, a bathroom in the dormer on one side, and a sitting-room in the dormer on the other. The location is remarkable: the downtown is within several blocks; the Community Building where we saw a number of shows is less than a block away; a stroll each day to the wonderful boardwalk is a good stretch of the legs; nearby church bells toll noon each day.
