Mold In Drinking Water!

The location was beautiful but it had its flaws. We travelled from outside of India and hoped to stay in a clean resort and enjoy our time as we attend a wedding. The staff ensured us upon arrival that they only serve filtered water bottles in the rooms. Our room had a water bottle with mold overgrowth in it which was consumed by us unknowingly. My partner had severe stomach issues the next day and had been suffering from nausea and diarrhea for 2 weeks. We both also have had sinus infection for 2 weeks. Drinking mold water can be fatal to health and is the worst sickness anyone can deal with and we had to suffer throughout the entirety of our trip. We have reached out to resort to resolve this matter but they are unresponsive. We had high expectations but don’t be fooled. I would not recommend this place to international travellers and anyone who expect to stay in a clean resort. I have attached pictures of the bottle from our room. There are black and green spores on the cap area and the bottom. Please never drink water from these bottles. I highly doubt they ever replace it or even clean them. Mold could’ve only grown to this extent if the bottle was left untouched for over a week! Absolutely horrified with how our health got destroyed by Acacia’s unhygienic practices. We had to travel back to our country to see a doctor and take time off from work to recover. Devastated financially and emotionally.

A very clean, modern and great place to stay. Located a 10 min walk to the beach and 5 mins from lots of restaurants and bars. Hotel staff were amazing and super friendly. Only issue was that the spa was closed during our stay which was disappointing. Room only gets cleaned upon request.

Photos are misleading. Pool pictures are most misleading. Pool is not 10% of what is shown in pics and was dirty at the time we used. Breakfast options are unlimited and lots of unneeded dishes which no one eats for breakfast. Rooms too small.

One of the best stay in morjim, beautiful property to watch out sunset on pool side.Amazing atmosphere giving you good vibes.Breakfast spread was just delicious, staff is very genuine, politely and courteous. They upgraded our room to deluxe with seaview.Taxi is just one call away, I would suggest to book classic superior room near pool side . We had booked a double room however we ended up getting a room where they had literally joined two twin beds together. Quite disappointing really!

Many thanks to Ankur and his attentiveness throughout our 6 day, birthday celebration stay. The welcome gift and cake were so nice. The property is lovely with amenities and the beach close by. We were able to rent a scooter from the front desk through very supportive staff. The menu was very much incomplete and every meal we ordered something was not available. Breakfast was simple, very limited, and not very enjoyable to a western palate. For both of these meals we consistently left the resort for a variety of restaurants 50 to 100 metres away. The pool and Jacuzzi are not well chlorinated, however swimable. The staff was wonderfully supportive every time the water was unavailable in our room, and truly made up for any of the issues that came up. Thank you Ankul and staff for making our stay enjoyable.
