The house is comfortable, plenty sleeping accommodations. Lots of entertainment areas and amenities to enjoy. Close to town and Duncan Mills and Jenner. I gave it an overall 4 stars mainly due to the very limited parking. They offer a loading spot in front of the property but is shared with a second property, so no parking in there, and the parking across the street is a narrow patch with gravel (2 cars comfortable, 3 very tight). However, it is fair to said that they are very honest on their warning about crossing the street as very dangerous.

We did not actually have the chance to stay here, shortly after we arrived and lugged our belonging up the steps, another group showed up who had also booked the property at the same time. Needles to say the owners told me that there was an intergraded software glitch and that the property had been double booked. He refused to accept any responsibility that he needed to manage his calendar and told me that we would have to vacate the premises because the other group had booked first. The owner immediately canceled our booking and gave us a refund. He did offer a couple of options where we might be able to stay, but with post COVID nothing was available. We drove another 4 hours home after leaving this place.
My family was really looking forward to staying here. We were skeptical at first because of the cost, but we decided to give it a try anyway. The owners were quick to get back to us before we booked to answer our questions. They really did an amazing job promoting this place with their photos. They even sent us a really well done video of the place and the surrounding area.
A few days prior to our visit I received an email with all the details about the place, its location, entry codes etc. After reading through the email I became even more skeptical.
Many key details were left off the informative video, for example this place sits on the only road that goes in and out of the area. It is incredible busy and noisy. The house sits on a steep hill and there is no parking. You must go down the road and turn around and park on the other side of the road. There is little room to park and if you are driving multiple cars this will be an issue.
The house is very old and dark. There is some water damage in one of the bathrooms. They did a very good job with the photos making the house appear well lit, but that was not the case at all. The kitchen was incredible dark, and the light for one of the bedrooms was a lantern. Not quite what you expect for the amount they were charging a night.
There was no cellular service and the WiFi was so weak that we kept getting dropped. Many of the lights did not work in the game room and we were unable to lock it when we left.
I sent a text to the owner asking for possible compensation if we were unable to cancel the excursion we had booked. Many of them had a 7 day cancellation policy. He never responded...
This was our experience and our observations for the short time we were there.
Good Luck.
