Welcome to the holiday! You live in a typical landmarked half-timbered house in the middle of the historic old town of Monschau. The Rur flows directly past the house. Through the quarry stone cellar one has direct access to the water (small terrace at the river). The house was completely renovated in 2014 and newly furnished. A cozy living room invites you to linger for convivial hours. The kitchen is fully equipped and a large dining table brings all guests to a table. The kitchen/diner was well set out with plenty of room for our group of 8 adults. Really liked that there was a generous quantity of plates, glasses, mugs and cutlery and appreciated availability of tea-towels and dishcloths. There is a toilet on three of the four floors and bathrooms on two levels - again, much appreciated. We did not use the outside space so no comment on that. Really excellent location for enjoying a few days in and around Monschau and short term parking just beside the house made a great place to offload luggage. ##### Kerry C.
