Temperance Barn Retreat

A lovely 1700’s barn conversion set on the Welsh/English border with beautiful views and stunning walks, five miles from the Wye Valley.Temperance Barn is set within the grounds of Temperance House and has its own private garden and parking facilities.Peaceful and idyllic.Temperance House/Temperance Barn was built in the 18th century and has been the family homestead since 1918.Guest are allowed on request, to access Temperance House garden to sit and see the stunning views and flowers in bloom.

House Rules:
No smoking allowed in barn or on premises.No live flowers(Lilies) due to staining).Please note that age requirement for property is 35+.The Barn hosts a maximum of two people so perfect for couples.Removal of muddy boots/wellies and use of house shoes would be much appreciated.A maximum of one pet per stay, however two dogs can be considered on request.Pets not allowed upstairs, on furniture or left unattended in property.PLEASE NOTE:There is also an additional £20 pet fee per stay (can be seen on pricing and please select this fee at checkout if pet is staying ) plus an additional £10 fee that will be applied for extra dogs. Please specify breed of dog before booking. .Additional charges will be applied for any electric vehicle charging.Wood burner available only on request prior to booking but safety rules apply when using this facility. NB:A bath is listed in amenities but it is an indoor shower.Longer stays are considered on request.
