The views are lovely, watching the birds come and go on the lake. We enjoyed taking the dog for walks around the property, which is really pretty with the changing leaves. I think it should be mentioned in the description to definitely bring your own drinking water and a fly swatter. After the initial shower on day one, the hot water ran out after about 3 minutes. We came prepared with board games and books as we knew about and wanted no wifi. The week we totally got to relax and enjoy family time. This place is very secluded so gives you the rest you so need. The path around the cabin is mowed and we walked it many times throughout the day. The deck is large and beautiful and has a great view of the lake. We didn’t use the small pond but we weren’t interested in that to begin with. We enjoyed the open concept of the cabin and the floor to ceiling windows. We really enjoyed the long walks we took, and the pond is really pretty. Lots of critters around: deer, frogs, and a muskrat! Great communications with Miranda, and it is really very quiet. It was perfect for us. Two small things. Because it is an open concept house, if you are a light sleeper it is a difficult when people are moving about. Perched on the side of a bluff, surrounded by trees, the very modern and well designed home has floor to ceiling windows facing a meadow and small lake. Enjoying a morning coffee on the south facing deck was amazing! My two adventurous dogs thoroughly enjoyed the freedom to explore and swim without risk of busy roads or interfering with neighbours. We would love to return for a longer stay and spend time crafting/creating in that perfect setting. Excellent host communication as well. ##### Ramona K. We had a really nice experience in this clean and well kept property. We really enjoyed the quiet area and the nice and peaceful surroundings. Nice property and most of what we need was provided by the owner. My communication with the owner was good and I receive responses promptly. Our suggestions for improvement: 1\. There is a certain smell with the water in this property and we can smell it when using the faucets in the sink and when taking a shower. 2\. The heated water, if you use the shower is not consistent. 3\. Included in the amenities is the wi-fi as I read the information. But when I asked for the wi-fi access on the day we were checking in, the owner replied and informed me there is no wi-fi service.
