This rental wasn’t bad but there are inaccuracies/misleadings in the description that I would have liked to know before renting. Typically I read the reviews to determine if good/bad things people state matter to me before renting. Since this property only had a rating based on reviews from other platforms, I wanted to provide info to potential renters. This is a duplex, not a cottage. The owners live on one side of the house and the rental is on the other. There is no sitting area in the place except for the beds or one chair in the kitchen. The air is controlled in the owners half of the house so while there is AC, you have no control over the temp. I found the temp too hot most of the time. The first night, I reached out to the host to find out how to control the AC and was told it’s on the owners side and they were out of town. The walls are very thin. Later in the week people were on the owners side and I could hear entire conversations. The description says parking is available and the pictures show a garage/driveway. However, instructions that came after the booking says not to park in front of the garage door and street parking is preferred. There was never street parking open. It’s almost impossible to park in the driveway and not be in front of the garage door due to not having a clear path to that area from the street. The entrance to the duplex is on the side of the house. You must go through the gate to the side yard and walk 20 feet before getting to the door
