(Calahonda) Also available for longer term rental in winter season. Please ask for special prices. Located in a gated residential complex, the modern apartment on the fourth floor is designed for maximum fun, comfort and pleasure. Guests have access to two communal swimming pools, a pool bar serving drinks and snacks and a well-maintained tropical garden. Children will surely love the apartment because the complex has a children’s pool and a play area with direct access to the beach. It is also suitable for specially-abled guests as the complex is wheelchair-friendly. The air-conditioned apartment has a south-facing terrace with an outdoor dining facility that can be accessed from the living room and is perfect for catching the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. The living area is divided into a sitting area and dining space. It is always pleasant and fresh here. The kitchen is separate and equipped with a microwave, an oven, an induction hob, a toaster, an electric kettle and a fridge. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The lovely room with terrace access has a double bed, a wardrobe and an en-suite facility. Bedroom 2: The nice room has a pair of single beds and a wardrobe. The nearest beach, restaurant and shops are only a few steps from here. But beyond beaches, Malaga is a thriving historical city and one of the best places to understand the culture and history of Spain. It has a Moorish Fortress, ruins of a Roman theatre, a 150-year old cathedral, a hilltop fortress with lookout towers and museums. The artist in you will love visiting Casa Natal on Plaza de la Merced where Pablo Picasso was born. There is a small collection of his artwork here. It is worth visiting Ataranzas Market too to get the real flavour of this coastal town. Malaga is also a city of great food, events and festivals, and of course, golf courses. We chose this apartment for the balcony and view of the sea and were not disappointed. It is on the fourth floor looking out over a quiet and well maintained complex. The complex has direct access to the boardwalk by the sea which runs in both directions for miles. You can walk this way (about 15 mins) to a small group of lovely restaurants, and for a shorter walk go up by the road. We loved being able to walk out for miles and stop along the way at various beach restaurants. We hired a car so we could get to Puerto Banus and Marbella both of which are well worth a visit.The apartment is a little dated in places, and could do with painting throughout. But this didn't affect our stay. The rental company were great and easy to communicate with. One day our key fob stopped working and they responded and sorted the problem very quickly. Just to note, the pool area was lovely and a lifeguard on duty all day, however, there were no sunbeds available, they were all locked up, even on hot days. This was the only complex along the front without sunbeds available and we thought that was a shame. ##### Rachel & Karl H.
