This was my second stay at Punta Alameda in two months. It came as a result of a family member wanting a trip to CDMX and having me as their travel partner due to my knowledge of the city. And I recommended not only the hotel but the king deluxe room with city view balcony. We booked two identical rooms. But while my first stay was outstading my second one had a very tough start. I needed a shower my first night after midnight and there was no hot water. It was freezing cold!! Because I knew the hotel well it felt condescending when the front desk staff told me how to use the faucet and that the water takes a while to warm up. I said : it never heated up. I took a short shower that left me shaking for a long time and I had a hard time falling asleep. I interacted several times with the front desk. The next morning I had no hot water but checked with my relative in a different floor and he had no problem. I talked to them and asked to be moved to another room and to be in a room they would check for hot water before assigning to me. Honestly this should have been their initiative and not mine. I packed everything in a hurry and moved in. I love the rooms and the balconies are enjoyable. I also love the coffee shops within walking distance.But this stay made me take it down a notch with my excitement with the hotel . For my next trip I will go back to my previous hotel across Parque Alameda.Still a centric place to stay.But no longer my first choice.

Es un hotel nuevo y con categoría de lujo tiene unas habitaciones modernas y elegantes mi estancia era por dos noches y decidimos extender una noche más debido a lo agradable de la habitación, el trato del personal muy amable, no cuenta actualmente con restaurante pero hay una gran variedad de negocios de alimentos cerca y si no se pide servicio por app, nos vamos contentos esperando volver y ver las mejoras

El hotel tiene excelentes habitaciones, cómodas y limpias. Está remodelado y los acabados son excelentes. Está cerca del centro histórico y por la ubicación te puedes mover fácilmente por esa zona y zonas cercanas al centro.

I had a room with 2 beds, room was very spacious, bathrooms are clean, rooms are clean, beds are extremely firm but we still slept fine. Check-in process was easy. When first pulling up to the building we didn’t recognize it because of no outside sign however the floor mats do have the name of the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance to Chinatown, palace Bella’s, and 25 mins walking to the centro cathedral church
