On the evening of March 9, the toilet became completely clogged and unusable. Despite reaching out to the owner, the issue could not be resolved during our stay. We later learned that the cause was a blocked sewer in the street, which was beyond anyone’s control.Initially, the owner assumed that we had caused the blockage, which was disappointing. While an alternative toilet was offered, it was not a practical solution for us, especially as we had elderly family members who needed easy access during the night. Given the circumstances, we had no choice but to end our trip early, leaving at 8 PM for a 4-hour drive home, which also meant canceling all our plans for the following day.We kindly requested a partial refund for the night we were unable to stay, but the owner declined, citing that an alternative was available. While we understand that unexpected issues can arise, we were disappointed by the lack of flexibility in resolving the matter.On a positive note, the property was clean and as described, but due to the way this situation was handled, we would not book again. For future guests, we recommend discussing emergency arrangements with the owner in advance to ensure a smooth stay. ##### Magnolia C.
