Maeburn Cottages are located a short stroll to the pristine waters of Lake King in Metung, an up-market fishing village on the shores of the spectacular Gippsland Lakes in East Gippsland Victoria, which form the largest inland waters in Australia. 2 min drive to Metung Village. The comfy cottage was very clean and Dorothy and her husband couldn’t be more helpful. The cottage wasn’t flash but very clean and perfect if you have a dog you love to travel with. The cottages are all of an older vintage but thoughtfully provided all that is required. Our cottage was warm and clean.Our dog as well as us was made very welcome and she enjoyed the run of a secure large yard.It is a short drive or long walk to the village. Dorothy was lovely, and kindly allowed us to check in 30 mins early. The cottages are in a very quiet location. Our cottage was nice and clean and we found it to have everything we needed for a short stay. Electric blankets on all the beds were a bonus for a winter stay. The accommodation is also dog friendly and the cottage verandah can be secured by a small gate, which we appreciated. ##### Paula W. Immaculately clean with all amenities yiu could need.
