"It was the most picturesque, homely place. We were made to feel so at home, when we arrived a log fire was already going, and we were a little later than expected so Renate unloaded our Morrisons food delivery for us which was so kind. The house was so clean, the gardens were so well kept the whole farm was just gorgeous and Renate gave us a tour too, as well as letting us roam freely - which we all loved especially my two children, 7years and 20months.. they loved being so free and feeding the geese, and exploring the gardens. We will definitely be returning. It was a perfect weekend. "

"If you are looking for a restful holiday, against a beautiful scenic back drop, staying at The Apple Store is for you! The property is delightfully remote, a complete change to the hustle of a city.There are a number of National Trust properties around the area, which is what drew up to this accommodation. Getting to the coast is also easy enough. You will have to navigate country lanes, some very narrow and some where the country is attempting to take the road back. This was fine for my city style driving in July, but I may question my ability to handle the roads safely in the winter. The accommodation was amazing, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The hosts are welcoming, but non-intrusive. This really is a case of what you see in the photos is what you get!"
