The listing talks about private beach but there is no access due to construction. This was disappointing since we wanted to see the sunset from that side. The house had a few quirks, there were some things broken around the house - big things being dryer, garage door, water filter in fridge was almost a month overdue, and the largest burner on the stove didn’t work. They were able to resolve the dryer, garage door, and water filter but could not get the stove fixed which made cooking for 10 people tricky all week. The other issues were that initially, the communication was good between management and myself about these problems but I was not given notice when the men would come and fix the dryer. The pool seems like it gets cleaned every Friday, we were not made aware of this and the pool guy just appeared into the pool area without announcing himself. The pool needed to be cleaned or checked sooner than once a week especially if there’s going to be 10 people using it multiple times a day. The other problem was that the temperatures in the rooms upstairs were so different, some freezing and some stuffy and hot. We were told to close vents but that did not fix the situation.The house itself was very clean. There’s a lot of beach supplies that the rental company won’t tell you about because they don’t claim it so they aren’t responsible for it but we didn’t need to rent chairs or umbrellas during our stay because others had left some behind plus two carts to carry everything in. The beach access was great, the beach was great. We probably wouldn’t stay here again due to all of the quirks. ##### Mary L.
