Nice but things to be aware of.
Breakfast is not on site but at another hotel 5 min walk away. It is good though. No restaurant on site. Parking costs extra. Parking is not nearby and is a 10 minute walk away. Lake View room looks out along the lake shore to the south east, there is no view northwards at all. Rooms are small, bathroom even more so Reception shuts at 20:00 and with it the main door. After that you have to use a side door and take the stairs to the first floor before you can access the lift. Might be an issue for the less well abled when coming in after eating out in the evening. A nice place overall, but none of these things were mentioned when booking or on the website, you only get to discover this after booking or upon arrival.

Lovely! Enjoyed Meersburg!
Meersburg was a very happy surprise. What was meant as an overnight stop on the way to Triberg, turned out to be one of the highlights of our 2 week Germany trip. Although most of the shops were closed in winter. , it was still nonetheless a very quaint old town and the hotel location cannot be beat. Lovely walk through the vineyards too! Breakfast was off site but not too far a walk . The options were plentiful and fabulous! Loved that they offered a hot breakfast option that the other hotels in our 2 week trip did not. This was our first stop after Fussen. Wish we had booked to stay here longer rather than the disappointing tourist trap of Fussen.

Gorgeous old building in the heart of downtown Meersburg. Friendly staff, beautiful clean And quiet room. Comfortable and so affordable with a wonderful huge hot and cold breakfast with so much variety. We had an amazing time and will certainly recommend this place with hopes to return ourselves. Parking is the only downfall... though it is free, it’s a walk. All in all... five stars.

Deceptive description of accommodations?
First of all, this property isn't within the castle grounds...rather across the street. Secondly, self parking means to fend for a parking space on the street. Thirdly, our room was OK, but bathroom was tiny. Breakfast is an extra charge ($12 Euros)...nice spread, but pricey. Would probably stay elsewhere the next time we're in this area.

Annette was friendly and helpful with information! We had a small private balcony with a lake view. The room was on the small side for 2, but not too small. It had everything we needed!

The hotel amenities were excellent. The rooms were comfortable and the place was very quiet. The staff was helpful and spoke English so we were able to communicate easily. I highly recommend it!

Initially given a room that was less than I booked. Very small and directly above the boardwalk (smoke and lots of noise). Had to complain to get the situation corrected. Would not book here again. Instead, reserve at upper part of town near the castle and avoid late night partying on the boardwalk. Internet not workable for 12 hours.

Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, aber für eine einzige Nacht kein Problem. Alles ist sauber und renoviert. Balkon mit Aussicht auf den See. Das Frühstück wird in einem andern Hotel, 200 m entfernt serviert. Mit einem lustigen Elektrofahrzeug wird man dorthin gefahren! Frühstück ausgezeichnet!

Wir hatten im Hotel Seehof ein Zimmer mit Aussicht auf den See und den kleinen Hafen von Meersburg, der gerade im Morgengrauen besonders schön war. Das Zimmer ist äußerst sauber und auch die Betten haben einen guten Schlaf zugelassen. Frühstück gibt es im Hotel „Wilder Mann“, welches eine großzügige Außenanlage mit Blick auf den Bodensee aufweist. Zu Fuß sind es ca. 250 m, die wir bei dem schönen Wetter als netten Morgenspaziergang gesehen haben. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielseitig und anspruchsvoll. Wir hatten das Glück in der Nähe des Hotels parken zu können, ansonsten sind es ca. 400 – 500 m bis zum Parkhaus, wobei das Gepäck für ca. 30 Minuten am Hotel ausgeladen werden kann. Festzuhalten bleibt, dass die Sauberkeit und der Seeblick unübertroffen sind. Anzumerken ist noch, dass das Badezimmer sehr klein ist und der Check-in/-out für heutige Verhältnisse etwas langatmig ist, was den Gesamteindruck aber nicht wirklich negativ beeinflusst.

I do not recommend it, since they do not have air conditioning, the heat was extreme and it was difficult for the hotel to give us a fan, too hot in those rooms.

Leider kam aus der Umgebung sehr laute Musik aus der Garage. Frühstück im Wilden Mann und der Fahrservice perfekt. Aussicht vom Balkon perfekt!!! Zimmer war sehr sauber!!! Zugang zu den Zimmern über Fahrstuhl sehr beengt. Alles in allem etwas beengt und altmodisch mit den Teppichen im Treppenhaus. Empfang durch den älteren Herrn etwas befremdlich. Habe im Parkhaus im Weinberg geparkt. War teuer aber mir lieber als auf dem engem Parkplatz der zum Hotel gehört!. Meine persönliche Meinung.... 175€ für eine Übernachtung etwas zuviel....

Unsere Zimmer lagen im Nebenhaus zur Strasse. Alles war in sehr gutem Zustand und sehr sauber. Nachts war es aufgrund der Lokale in unmittelbarer Nähe sehr laut. Das Frühstück wurde im etwa 200 Meter entfernten "Hotel Wilder Mann" angeboten. Wir fanden es reichhaltig und von wirklich guter Qualität.

Hotel war super. Zimmer ein wenig klein,aber erfüllt sein Zweck. Im Zimmer war nur 1 Fensterflügel zum öffnen,deswegen war ein wenig heiß. Abendlärm von der umliegenden Lokale war störend.
