About this property

Modern, open plan & spacious. Walk to Estuary. Perfect for families & friends.

  • A modern spacious well appointed Bach. Gather together in a large open plan living area with ample outdoor living to enjoy. Relax and watch the sunset over the sleeping giant ranges or stargaze under the louvred pergola and spacious deck. Wake up to a Nespresso coffee and new kitchen with modern appliances. Plenty of off street parking and room to park a boat. After a swim freshen up in the dual hot outdoor shower.
    A short 5 minute walk to the estuary along the lake, extend your scenic walk along the estuary around the peninsula, it's paradise. The large beach is also only a 15 minute walk. Walking up the Matarangi Bluff track over to Ring's beach is also a highlight, other trails are also on offer at the Bluff end.
    Enjoy eating locally at the Dunes overlooking the golf course or at Pipers located at the local shops. With a short drive over to Kuaotunu you will find Luke's Kitchen, very popular with many.
    Enjoy a game of tennis at one of the many courts, bowls, golf or many beautiful walks. Such a perfect spot to explore all the local beaches and everything the Coromandel has to offer.

    Matarangi is in a perfect spot for you to explore the Coromandel further, located half way between Whitianga and Coromandel town.

    PLEASE NOTE: Sheets and towels can be provided at an additional cost. $15 per person for sheets, $5 per person for towels. Alternatively please supply your own linen- sheets, pillow cases and towel’s. Bath mats, T towels, pillows, duvets and dish cloth provided.

Great rental

Our first rental in NZ - plenty of room and quiet location. Easy drive to the beach. Kids appreciated the couches and Netflix. Beds were comfy, showers were great. Excellent stay.

Wonderful stay in Matarangi

Our family had an awesome stay at this house. The property is well appointed and exactly as in the photos. Communication with Rebekah was great and she was very responsive. Overall a wonderful time and highly recommended.

A great place to stay.

The house is complete with almost of our needs, arranged neatly and in order. It has a comfortable beds and house has a huge amount of space for us. My son enjoyed playing on the deck with toys available in the house.

Great Stay!

We had a great stay, it was comfortable, clean, in a great location and we had great communication from the owners. I was so stoked to have absolutely everything we needed in the kitchen as well, it was very well equipped (bonus points for having a Nutri Bullet!! Lol!!!). Thanks again!

Friends Getaway

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful family batch in Matarangi, and it exceeded all expectations! The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Its location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to both the beautiful beach and the golf course. We loved being able to enjoy beach days and leisurely rounds of golf within minutes. The atmosphere was perfect for our friends getaway, and the amenities provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Lovely home in Matarangi

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home for 5 days before and after a family wedding. The kitchen, laundry facilities, beds and sofa were very comfortable. The dining chairs were not comfortable but good enough with an added cushion from the couch. My only issue was that the clothes closet in the master bedroom was locked to store the owners belongings and I think that was a poor choice. The master closet should be available to the guest. The other closets that I used in the bunk rooms had too many unnecessary things in them and needed organizing. Other than that, a perfect stay.

Great place to stay

The house is lovely and clean and has all the amenities you could want for a summer holiday. The home worked well for our two families with good sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the bonus of an outdoor shower.

Fantastic, well equipped, spacious beach house. We loved the open living space, modern kitchen, large flat section, awesome deck and all the little touches such as toys, games, lovely toiletries and warm outdoor shower. Handy location for beach, boat ramp and shops. Easy communication with host even when our dates changed. Would 100% recommend and would love to return - for longer this time!
