This riad is in a perfect location for the main sites and the room was beautifully decorated. The staff were excellent and the food was really good too.
We had a lovely time at Riad Melhoun! The service was brilliant and the staff very kind and friendly.
The Riad was beautiful and in a great location and we look forward to visiting again.
Excellent Riad with outstanding staff. Spa was amazing and the free Moroccan breakfast every morning was amazing. Will recommend to all our family and friends.
Excellent Riad, located within walking distance to several areas. Staff were brilliant and able to offer help, directions and recommendations when needed. Breakfast on the rooftop was great. Delighted we chose to stay in the Riad.
This place is very beautiful, the staff is wonderful. The food great and Jamal was amazing helping out at all times making us feel safe and welcome. Loved it!
Amazing stay in a top Riad, decorated above standards.
Very friendly staff, always ready to discuss and help.
Suggestion for ecofriendliness to not change towels if not on the ground, as noted in the room ;)
We are in awe! What a fantastic gem. Staff, spa nd food were excellent. Their hospitality left nothing to need or want. Daily breakfast, excursion recommendations were all perfect. Definitely consider the Imlil Valley excursion. Pools are relaxing and warm too. Their rooftop and central lobby area are so impressive and beautifully decorated. We are in love with this property!
Amazing property and staff! They are the best in customer service and made us feel really welcomed. We got there really late and they still took the time to serve us tea and cookies. Amazing rooms and food. We got a couple of massages and an amazing dinner. The staff goes above and beyond! This was a family trip and they made all the necessary Accomodations for us to feel comfortable and welcome.
I stayed there with my family- 2 rooms and they were a nice size; the spa and hamman were very nice and the staff couldn’t have been nicer-so all in all a good choice. I personally did not care for the breakfast and while it is a very good location for being near but not in the souk cars cannot come or drop you right at your door so a woman alone or anyone with a walking problem might not be comfortable there
This is a remarkable place to stay in Marrakech--a traditional riad in the heart of the Medina dating from 16th century. It boasts a courteous staff, extraordinary decor, beautiful rooms, impeccable service, and superb food. The resourceful staff arranged trips for us with knowledgeable guides both within the city and around the country. Marrakech has recovered entirely from the earthquake and is safe for travelers. Do yourself a favor and stay here rather than in a modern "luxury" hotel that cannot begin to match what is on offer at Riad Melhoun.
This Riad was INCREDIBLE - the only accommodation I'd recommend for Marrakech. We were guests for 4 nights and didn't want to leave. The property was amazing as the decor was exquisite, clean and overall beautiful. The staff was out of this world and as a guest you are treated to amazing people who will take care of you. Nor, Mohammad, Jamal, Abdul, Adeesha, Sahira were above and beyond extraordinary taking care of my friend and me (I saw how lovely they were to other guests as well). I highly recommend eating dinner at the Riad and taking a cooking class from Adeesha, Sahira and Jamal - it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The Riad was our oasis within a very hectic city. Once we walked through the front door, we were treated to a very calm, quiet and relaxing atmosphere - we spent most of our time at the Riad for this reason.
Our stay at Riad Melhoun was beyond 5 star! We absolutely loved our stay, everything was perfect from the beautiful property, to the amazing staff. This Riad is gorgeous. Our room was very large and spatious, our bed was really comfortable, and our bathroom was beautiful, it also had really great water pressure. We spent every morning up on the rooftop terrace for breakfast before we would head out to explore for the day. It was so quiet and peaceful, I highly recommend. I love the location of the Riad, we were an easy walking distance to just about everything. A 5 minute walk to the palaces, a 5-10 min walk to the Souqs. I love that the Riad was really close to the markets without being right in the middle of them. Noise was never an issue. The Staff at Riad Melhoun are the best of the best. They went above and beyond to be helpful and accomodating.
Super friendly staff and helpful to all your needs! Even if you arrive late they will make you feel welcomed and at home! Real Morocco experience. My teens and we loved it!
The staff is very accommodating. The room was clean and the food, delicious. The location is also very convenient to the should and access to vehicles for transportation drop off and pick up.
Prachtige authentieke ruimtes met oog voor details. Personeel met zorg en trots op hun riad. Heerlijk eten, duidelijk met liefde bereid in een kleinschalige keuken.
From the moment we were met at the door of Riad Melhoun we felt genuinely welcomed - such a lovely retreat from the madness of the Medina! The riad is beautiful - lovely intricate carvings with quiet nooks and crannies everywhere plus a magic roof-top retreat. Our room - Maya - was on the 2nd floor - spacious, really comfortable bed & pillows - and we couldn’t believe how quiet (& dark!) the room was - couldn’t even hear the calls to prayer. We had 2 dinners here - great meals - each dish explained & fantastic service. When I mentioned that I loved the olives in one of the salads, they bought another bowl of them! Direction wise we found it easy to find our way home after each day of wandering as it’s quite a direct walking route from the Jamaa fna square - after you’ve done it once! Also thoroughly recommend the spa & hammam- more like a western spa experience than a traditional hammam but with a little more nudity :)! We would come back to stay in a heart-beat!
