The property was in a residential area amongst locals and hence gave a feeling of being a guest in Morrocco not a tourist which we liked a lot. Property was maintained perfectly and Nuruddin has been an amazing person to look after you. thanks to him. Nothing we disliked

Hidden gem in the medina.

We were only staying one night but we were very impressed with the Riad Alwane. We know the medina well so it was easy for us to find. We were made very welcome, I enjoyed a swim in the pool ( I live in Norway!). The rooms all look lovely. I slept very well, we had a nice breakfast and we were on our way. Would definitely recommend. If you’re an inexperienced traveller, it may be challenging for you to find and communicate, but, otherwise, it’s perfect.
I had a swim. Glad of the hot shower to follow

Far from the center, not easy to found. We asked taxi to send us to the hotel, when driving near to the hotel, many kids surrounded, we were terrified. Hotel stuffs cannot speak English. No greating, no welcome tea, etc. Hot water running out quickly. We mostly shower under the cold water. Air conditioner not working. No heating. We asked for an additional blanket as it was cold in the night, however, no. Not recommanded this hotel.

se fosse ubicato in un altra zona di Marrakesh non sarebbe nemmeno male come hotel in rapporto al costo, ma se non sei un locale o almeno un marocchino difficilmente gli si può attribuire una valutazione positiva, ove si tenga conto che difficilmente è raggiungibile senza essere accompagnati da chi conosce la zona.

Terrible location, staff don't speak English

The Riad itself is very nice, nice rooms and dining area - the breakfast on the terrace is a must when sunny..but the location is worst that what you could imagine..you must take the taxi when the sun goes down and even though the guy from the Riad arranges it for you they Dont stop in front the Riad and they charge you more than the triple! It was difficult to communicate with the staff,no one speaks English... No even few words for directions and it s very inconvenient if it is your first time in Morocco and you don't speak French...unfortunately I will not recommend this Riad..

Majatalo ja huoneet itsessään ovat mukavat, kauniisti sisustetut ja siistit. Hyvä aamupala. Mutta sijainti on niin huono että en voi suositella tätä Riadia kenellekään.Todella vaikea löytää, labyrinttimaiset kujat, kaukana keskustasta, köyhällä "slummimaisella" alueella ja pimeän aikaan ei ulos uskalla lähteä. Kannattaa ottaa hotelli läheltä Marrakechin keskustaa, esim. Koutobian lähistöltä.

Bad location,not great for English speaking guests

I wouldn't recommend this hotel for the reasons listed below: 1 Location - The hotel is located in the non-tourist area which can only be accessed on foot. The taxi will drop you outside Medina, and then you will need a guide to escort you to a hotel. Otherwise, you can easily spend half a day guessing the whereabouts. The locals will undoubtedly help you in return for tips. Something, you'd avoid especially at night. It certainly doesn't feel safe in the neighbourhood! 2 Hotel staff - They only speak French and Arabic! So you have to be really good at sign language to convey simple tasks 3 Breakfast - is very basic comprising of a Tea, 1 Banana, 1 Crepe. I asked for an egg a few times but they obviously didn't understand.

Accueil parfait .très joli à l entrée .hall et décor très beau mais chambre trop fermée.ideal pour touriste qui recherche du Maroc traditionnel.le grand défaut est l accès au riad .même les taxi ne connaissait pas .dans le Marrakech profond que de petites ruelles non accessible en voiture.
