"Pros: Just wanted to let you know how happy we were with our vacation rental. Three couples shared this home and we were all very comfortable. It was clean, had great wi-fi, a nice pool and the caretaker was very helpful. The owner was very prompt at responding to our inquires due to our inability to speak Spanish. La limpieza del Interior de la casa debería ser bastante mejor, sobre todo del menaje de cocina, que estaba prácticamente todo sucio. "Rafa sent details before we travelled, also location, met us at property, very welcoming, showed us around. Beautiful villa, everything there to utensils ect to cook if needed. nice to relax by the pool. On hand if needed, great communication without being intrusive, gentleman. We used Ubers regularly a bit out the way, 30 mins from centre, shop, bar walking distance, lovely people. Look forward to staying again. Thankyou so much Rafa again "

Parador de Carmona

"This is a stunning hotel. 5 stars in all areas. It is part of the Parador chain which is similar to the National Trust in England. The building itself is historic and features unique spaces for resting, having a drink or eating. The rooms are tastefully decorated and include tea making facilities and a mini bar. The air conditioning works perfectly. The pool is situated in the lower part of the estate. It is adjacent to a bar area that serves drinks, and there is friendly pool guard who is around all day. Parking is very close to the property and is free of charge. The views from all the rooms are breathtaking. What a memorable stay! "

Historic patrician country house with exceptional location

"If you want an idyllic stay in the Spanish countryside, this is your place. We were a family of 17 and fit perfectly. The caretakers, Carmen and Jose were so kind and helpful in every way. Carmen prepared fabulous meals for us our entire stay. The location is great for visiting Seville and cordoba. The road to the villa isn’t paved, but it’s a smooth ride. We would definitely return if in the area again. I can’t say enough good things about Carmen, and the solitude of this historic house set among pistachio trees."

Hotel Oromana

"Our third visit, and our stay was as special as both previous ones. Peacefulness, remoteness, spotlessly clean room, very efficient A//C, light comfy lounge area. The swimming pool was much appreciated, as was the poolside bar (weekends) and the delicious food from the Oromana restaurant - open Monday - Saturday evenings and weekend lunchtimes. But... what makes this hotel exceptional is it's staff. Waiting staff, housekeeping, behind the scenes staff we never met, and reception staff were polite and professional. Reception staff in particular were helpful, organising taxis, restaurant bookings and drinks durung the day when the bar wasn't manned. All the reception staff worked very hard, and went above and beyond to fulfil our requests. But one gentleman stood out. Thankyou Fran for taking time to make us feel extra special - always a smile, handshake, advice on festivals we may enjoy another year and he produced an iron and extra coat hangers in a flash. He made us feel we were friends as well as guests. Thank you Fran, for your genuine wishes that we had a good stay at The Oromana."

A real joy to stay in an authentic well cared-for Spanish home, which has been tastefully furnished with good quality fittings and all mod-cons, extremely comfortable beds, modern TVs, wifi etc. As an English family, we were pleased to find a kettle and coffee machine in the kitchen, two spacious fridges, a good oven and generally fairly well equipped for self catering. BBQ too. Rosa the hostess/owner was hugely warm, generous and helpful and despite her limited English and our limited Spanish we managed to communicate well on arrival. She was also very quick to sort out any issues - the water went off at one point and she had someone round to fix it almost immediately. Our teenage boys enjoyed the table tennis and tennis court and outdoor space (too cold in April to swim however!) and its within easy reach of several interesting places of interest (Carmona, Seville, Cordoba - even Ronda) which we much enjoyed visiting. The local town Marchena is also charming and had everything we needed, including an excellent Mercadona supermarket. Highly recommend. What a treat it was to stay here! Thank you Rosa and family."

"A beautiful hotel. We thought that the breakfast was a little underwhelming and there is no restaurant out of season, however there are plenty of good places to eat in Osuna or the towns nearby. Our room was fabulous and would happily stay there again. Staff were very helpful and friendly despite having to sit in the central courtyard in the cold!"
