"This cabin n is more than a place to stay. It is a relaxation destination. The Host provides all that is needed for a full breakfast including fresh eggs directly from his own chickens. The koi pond is mesmerizing. And then when you do decide to see the surrounding area you are not far from town or hiking. I really recommend this cabin if you are look to relax not far from the beaten path."

"I am a family travel blogger who stays in hotels frequently with my husband and two young daughters. This was the most disappointing hotel experience we have had. We booked this stay for Mother’s Day weekend and arrived expecting a comfortable, family-friendly experience. From the moment we arrived, the property appeared noticeably run-down compared to what was advertised online. When we entered the lobby, there was a sign at the front desk stating, “Helping another customer. Be right back.” We waited approximately 15 minutes with no staff member present before leaving to take our children elsewhere and returning later. Upon returning, the front desk informed us that although I had reserved a king room with a sleeper sofa, the reservation had been entered for only two guests. I explained that we were traveling with our young kids and expected the sleeper sofa to accommodate them. Rather than offering flexibility or assistance, we were told the only option was to purchase an additional adjoining room. What made this especially frustrating was that the hotel appeared nearly empty, with very few cars in the parking lot and clearly many available rooms. As a traveling family arriving on Mother’s Day weekend, the interaction felt unnecessarily rigid and financially motivated rather than customer-focused or accommodating. We no longer felt comfortable staying at the property and chose instead to leave. Because the reservation was made through Hotels.com we were not given a refund."

"Stayed in 2 bedroom lots of space but lacked helpful amenities. No place in bath to put personal items need a shelf or hooks. Small kitchen area had no light at all overhead or lamps. Not enough electrical outlets had to unplug coffee maker to use microwave. One bedroom could use a chair “continental breakfast” but milk in fridge was outdated for cereal or coffee. Very poor quality upgrades. Location good and outdoor space lovely."

"This is an older hotel that has been nicely updated. It was clean and bed was firm but comfortable. A hot breakfast was newly started and the eggs were better tasting than alot of other smaller hotel buffet types . Staff was very helpful and willing to help with any needs. We would stay here again."

"No chocolate for s'mores..otherwise just fine. Only suggestion would be a night light in the bathroom or a dimmer switch."

"This place was absolutely sublime; impeccably clean, well appointed and the innkeeper is extremely personable. The view from the room is classic New England with green mountains in the background. The toiletries are of extremely high quality. It will be my go-to lodging when I'm in the area!"

"Rooms were very clean, great coffee in the room. The resort(the actual area in general )is in “mud month”. Very few restaurants and stores were open. Not the fault of the resort. Refrigerator needed to be requested. The views were spectacular and the lobby was beautiful "
