Had a great experience with El Riad Andaluz! The location is perfect, staff were friendly and caring. The rooms are very nicely decorated and clean. Would come again!

We stayed in the Badiane room, which is decorated in a lovely way. The downside is that the window opens to the corridor that is connected to the inner courtyard. It does have air conditioning. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard for tea and coffee.

Beautiful guest house with lush terrace in the middle. Gerald was easy to reach via WhatsApp. I loved that the rooms had a name, mine was “cardamom” and I love having a real key for the room. My room had a window opened to the terrace and it looked like a painting. I had cleaning service during the day which is not common anymore and I appreciated that. The location is perfect, I walked everywhere. I parked in the parking garage on a nearby street and that was fine. Overall lovely.

Our room was excellent. Clean linens, great location, and even parking was close (it took about 20 mins to find a spot, but worth it). The only thing i would say to improve is it would be nice to have a personal fridge to keep food cool in.

It's a beautiful guest house with lots of charm. The host was polite and spoke English. The nearby car park cost €46 for 2 days and is a 2 minute walk. The location is great with a max of 30 minutes walk to most of the main locations. The rooms are a little smaller than anticipated and no kettle in the room, although there is a communal kettle in the foyer. There's no TV in the rooms (doesn't bother me but some people may expect it). The walls are very thin so you will have to be cautious of noise. Overall not a bad stay, expected a little more for the money but it was a last minute trip.

It was round the corner from a pretty square. The room was delightful with a little balcony overlooking the street. The only thing I would change was tea and coffee to be made available before 8.30 in the morning as I had an early flight and had to leave without one I would stay again

The room is cozy with its own private balcony. The decor and architecture is amazing and all the plants. The bed was firm and comfortable. Especially the pillow. It was chilly but they have central heat air and a hot plate to warm up room. Hot water takes a minute in shower. A tiny shower, got to make sure you put a towel on the floor. The location is amazing so close to everything within walking distance from all the sites. I loved staying here. Also felt very safe. TGNCIQ friendly.

A lovely little place close to the centre and easy walking to all the sights. Nice and clean and the bed was comfy. Excellent accommodation for what you are paying. I would definitely stay again.

It’s a basic hotel with small rooms, but quite charming and unique. We had an ant infestation but we dealt with it by buying a spray can of bug spray and that managed it. The owner, Gerald was helpful with advice on transportation, directions, restaurants, etc.

El Riad Andaluz is in a great location. The rooms were nice and very clean. The owner was very nice and extremely helpful in giving advice and arranging for taxis, car rentals, getting around the city, ... Would definitely go back there again.

What a great find! El Riad Andaluz has lots of character, is beautifully presented and very comfortable. Whilst it's only a couple of minutes from the city centre it's remarkably quiet. And proprietor Gerald is always happy to help. The rooms are lovely (mostly colour -themed I think) although fairly small. So perhaps not ideal for a longer stay but absolutely perfect for a few days or so

The property is very Moroccan and was very nice. Unfortunately the property opposite was very noise, I thought I was in Ibiza this meant we had a very disruptive night.

Full of character
Beautiful riad full of character. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. A beautiful courtyard for relaxing in. Walking distance to many museums and shops in Old Town. A welcome change from the sameness of regular hotels.

Really accommodating place and owner
Very nice little hostal tucked away in the old town. Room was excellent although be warned that there’s no door to the en suite facility, just a wall! The owner was very flexible in arrangements and allowed us a late check out and shower because we ran the Malaga Media Maraton on the morning of check out day. Thank you for this. That was really nice hospitality. Highly recommend this place.

It is a simple hotel, with basic services, near the center. The owner must correct the information published on the page. The parking information does not match the truth

Dear Christian, You appreciation is unfairand biased by the fact that you were upset because you could not find a parking space in the street nerby our house. I showed you the parking information that I have provided to Expedia from which Hotels.com extract what is displayed on their website. Parking On-site valet parking (EUR 20 per night) Free 24-hours off-site parking within 328 ft Street parking available I aslo send you the day before your arrival and email with some info about the parking possibilites. How can you justify that I am responsible for the strret parking?

I would highly recommend this hotel it was everything that it had written on there website it was very clean and quite a lovely little court yard. We really enjoyed our stay It was also down a quite street too so no problems sleeping. Also very close to everthing. Definitly would recommend.

So much character! What a lovely hotel, made such a change from the usual chain hotels I’m used to staying in. I stayed in the single room which was small but fine for a couple of days. The balcony was my favourite thing about the room and opened the space up perfectly. Like other people have said the bathroom isn’t particularly private but as a solo traveler or couple who are very comfortable with each other it’s perfect. The room was very basic in terms of amenities (no fridge, iron, tea/coffee is downstairs in the lobby) but location is great and you everything on your doorstep. Got some great restaurant recommendations from the Receptionist and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Recommend!

Warm and friendly hotel with character
Very personal warm welcome with helpful advice given. The hotel and room was lovely - full of character, quirky, individual and aesthetically decorated. Due to flight delay I was late, but arrived to a very friendly introduction and felt immediately at home, which was really nice. I would highly recommend the hotel. It's isn't full of modern gadgets and shiny surfaces, instead it's full of heart.

Beautiful experience in the heart of old Malaga
If you are looking for bland 5 star services this is not for you. If you are looking for a unique experience it is. Florent and his staff are warm welcoming hosts and Georgina the housemaid is so helpful. But the star of the show is the place itself, a real experience of Andalucia and set in the perfect position to get to explore Malaga. Our room overlooked the alley to the front and we had a small sitting room plus a double bedroom. There was a well designed shower tucked away. Stylish but simple.

A wonderful welcome and a great stay at El Riad Andaluz. We had a fantastic room, beautifully furnished and the hotel is in a great location close to the tourist attractions. The owners took the time to tell us all the must do attractions, bars and restaurants that they recommended in Malaga, and we felt very welcomed.

Meet the lovely Flo & Flo in this amazing little pension in the old town of Malaga. We had an amazing time & will definitely book into the El Riad Andaluz again :)
