The Johnson Branch cabin accommodates 4 four people comfortably. Two bedrooms, two baths, a large covered porch with hot tub and a wood burning fireplace in the living room (firewood is not provided). Master BD and living room with 40" Roku TV.
There’s a nice picnic spot down by the tumbling brook as an added feature, with the stunning beauty of the North Carolina mountains all around. Walk 100 feet and enjoy the firepit as well as the creek. The Johnson Branch Cabin is fully equipped, spotless, and just waiting for you!
My cabin offers everything that you will need; private Hot Tub, 40" Smart TVS with Roku devices, central air and heat, unique setting, privacy, and peace. The Johnson Branch cabin is 1 mile from the Valley, restaurants, gift shops and bars at an altitude of 3200 feet. The cabin is tastefully decorated with antiques. From the porch you can enjoy the sound of the creek bordering the property. The Johnson Branch cabin has wireless Internet provided by Charter/Spectrum, bring your laptop and work anywhere on the property, sit on your deck or by the creek.
Wildlife includes, elk, deer and turkeys, of course there is no guarantee they'll visit during your stay.
ONLY (1) one dog under 20 lb. will be accepted for a non refundable pet fee of $ 165.00 per stay or per week. For example staying 7 nights or less, $ 165.00, staying 2 weeks $ 330.00. Pet must be crated when you are not at the cabin. ABSOLUTELY NO CATS!
My residence is in Maggie Valley, in the event of a problem during your stay you will not have to rely on a property manager. Security camera at bottom of driveway for your security.
We regret we do not accept oversize truck, motorcycles or trailers at this cabin.
During the winter month it will be your responsibility to access the cabin.

Hurricane getaway
Nice cabin in a great location. Great place to relax. Sit on the porch or in the hot tub with the relaxing sound of the nearby creek.Hurricane Heleene hit Maggie Valley. Heleene and Milton both hit my house. Madeline the host was awesome keeping me informed on the conditions in Maggie Valley. When we saw the business asking for people to return we kept our reservation and had a great stay. Everyone in Maggie Valley were incredibly nice.

We went for the week of the 4th of July. Cabin and property were beautiful, serene, and cozy. Madeleine was such a pleasure to work with. Excellent communication! She also had a nice treat of poppy bread for us upon arrival! Would definitely return!

Peace and quiet a minute from Maggie Valley.
If you're looking for peace and quiet and a clean comfortable cabin just a minute from Maggie Valley ; this is the place for you! We enjoyed a peaceful week ; ending each day with a soak in the hot tub. We started each day out on the balcony porch drinking coffee and watching the hummingbirds and listening to the baby birds cheap in their nest.

Wonderful place to bring in the New Year!
We loved this cabin! The view, the property, the owner were top notch! I wish we could have stayed longer! It was quaint and clean and it was perfect for my family of 4. If you want peace away from everything, stay here. Madeleine was very nice and she was very quick to respond with any question or issue we had. THANK YOU MADELEINE!!!!! Hopefully we can come visit again soon!!

NO PRIVACY
The cabin was beautiful however the owner will come by every single day to “check” the hot tub and while there peep in the blinds etc. There is never any privacy as she is always around or at the other two cabins, OR her own home that is right above this one -stalking everything you do. We never got to enjoy the hot tub due to the privacy issue. There are also notes and instructions all over the cabin threatening you of your deposit if you dont do every little thing her way. There is also a binder with instructions this would have been sufficient. The texting and privacy issues started on our 2nd day there, I hate to inform I’ve been home for 4 days and the issues with this owner still hasn’t stopped!! I have now been charged $100 possibly more for things I’m being blamed for that are NOT true. She says our dog scratched a door when our dog was in a crate the entire time! I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t have cameras. Loved the cabin and Maggie valley area- just not happy with our our trip was ruined by the host/owner. We did have two extra people which I admitted to but she has also come up with a whole list of none sense. When will the harrassment end?! She even sent me pictures of our dogs poop 😳 and was upset that we didn’t pick up after her when it was never stated we should pick up poop out of the gravel or grass. I could go on and on..just beware!

Thanksgiving Visit
Clean, quiet, and restful. Good sleeping. The kitchen was not equipped for cooking easily. Prior rentals have had more equipment. Wish there were a way "non-tubbers" did not have to pay for something we do not use at all--maybe a keyed lock that only users pay for?? The place was nice and comfortable, and the hostess very accessible.

Maggie valley cabin
The cabin was excellent. Madiline is an excellent host. We really enjoyed the view and the hot tub. The beds are very comfortable. I would stay at the cabin again..

A nice, snug, cabin with a quiet beautiful setting. Just what my wife and I and son were looking for as a get away place. Could have used a king bed, but I quibble! All was as advertised. Very pleasant although the Maggie Valley dining options were somewhat limited. But it was a getaway after all!
