This spot is officially at the top of our list for places to stay. The privacy cannot be beat at this elevation, and the views leave nothing to be desired. The cabin itself has everything you need, plus a fireplace for those cooler nights. Driving up to the cabin is doable in a front wheel drive car but you should take care. Very dog friendly and host friendly. Some windows and double doors missing blinds or suitable covering for privacy. One window in bedroom. Yes it's a the end of the road but you never know. If you cook the pans are in terrible shape and need replacing. The furniture needs serious cleaning/replacing. Rained during stay with no wind lost power for more than an hour to two hours. No backup lighting supplied, flashlight in kitchen did not work. Have to believe this occurs often due to home next door (host) has whole home generator.
