It is exactly how it appears in the pictures. Nicely decorated and comfortable with lots of space. It is on a street that can get very busy at times, but not too loud. It is very close to many highlights in Madrid. My only complaint is that the kitchen was not equipped with any amenities. A few bottles of water and coffee would have been nice especially after a long day of travel, but there is a supermarket right across the street. ##### shannon s. We adored our time in Madrid and it was wonderful to have a home base in this great apartment! We were approaching midday the 2nd day when we decided to leave and check into a hotel. They sent their maintenance person who couldn’t fix the hot water so that we could take showers. Additionally, they said not to have the air conditioning and electronics plugged in while we leave the apartment to save money on electricity. They said the bills were already too much. The lights kept going out due to electrical issues. They also said not to take “cold” showers at the same time. There was no explanation why. What was the most surprising was how VRBO staff handled my case. My assistant and I spent several hours on the phone over the course of 2 days trying to figure out how to get someone to the apartment to help us and to find out how to get back the fees we paid. I ultimately had to move my family to another hotel where I spent more due to a last minute booking and after 4 really bad VRBO agents we finally got one named Rolly who saved our vacation.
