The best time to visit Madrid is during the spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) months, when the weather is most pleasant for exploring.

During these periods, the temperatures are comfortably mild, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C. This makes it ideal for walking around the city's many outdoor attractions, such as the Retiro Park or the Plaza Mayor, without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. Spring also brings blooming flowers to the city's parks and gardens, adding to the visual appeal. For those interested in cultural events, both spring and autumn often feature various festivals, art exhibitions, and concerts, offering a rich experience without the peak summer crowds.

While summer (June to August) can be very hot, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C, it's still a popular time for visitors who don't mind the heat and want to experience Madrid's lively nightlife, which often extends late into the cooler evenings.
