Providing the perfect place to unwind and simply enjoy each other's company, this Macon cabin offers a cozy retreat away from city life. On the shoreline of Lake Gaston, this log wood cabin boasts a private dock, although not ideal for swimming or boating, it is ideal for sitting back and enjoying your morning cup(s) of coffee. For those who do wish to get on the water, kayaks and paddle boards can be launched from the dock. Also outside, enjoy the scenic bench swing and large grassy yard.

The interior of the cabin is just as charming with its high ceilings, unique wood finishes, and modern amenities. As soon as you walk inside, you will take notice of the living room's comfortable sofa, board game collection, and Smart TV. The adjacent kitchen is well-stocked for all of your cooking sessions, displaying stainless steel appliances and an eat-in table.

As you explore the rest of the cabin, you will discover magnificent perks such as a work desk and chair for remote work, a stackable washer/dryer, and an additional seating area — perfect for evening chats. The perfect nature escape

Nestled at the end of the lake you truly get immersed in nature. We enjoyed he firepit, stargazing and coffee with the birds!

Peaceful visit

The cabin is beautiful and was perfect for the work trip (writing focused). The loft space was perfect for writing. The outdoor areas were wonderful for morning coffee and quiet contemplation.

The cabin was wonderful, the host was readily available when needed. The only thing that I did not like was there was no grill, we did enjoy the fire pit!

Great Stay!

Very nice cabin. Clean and orderly. The beds were super comfortable! Host was on top of everything. Questions were answered in a very timely manner! Highly recommend this property!

Very cute cabin with a great view of the lake. Comfortable for a vacation. We enjoyed the screened in porch which kept the bugs from bothering us. Internet and phone service was iffy, but otherwise we had a great time!

We did some fishing, made some smores, and enjoyed the house very much. Really appreciate the firewood provided. The only thing that would have made the trip better would have been a grill at the house so we could BBQ.
