The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, although getting to them requires a steep staircase and a walk across the back of the building. Other than that the bar area and restaurant have a lovey feel to them, and the staff were excellent. We had an evening meal and breakfast there, both of which were very nice. Traditional Inn with welcoming, friendly & helpful staff. Room 5 (Knightwood) was modern design with comfy 5' bed & big ensuite shower. Hearty breakfast was made to order, also self service cereals, yoghurts & juices. Delicious dinners both evenings.
