SPECIAL RATES FOR AUTUMN & WINTER! Gorgeous country cottage in quiet location on the edge of the stunning New Forest, just 1 mile from the beach and close to the New Forest. Oak Tree Cottage is a modern barn conversion, beautifully renovated with wooden flooring, underfloor heating throughout, double-height open plan living area and lovely furnishings. It is a cosy and comfortable base after a day exploring the New Forest and lovely Hampshire/Dorset coastline. Set in open countryside on a private rural lane, it is a peaceful holiday location, but close to popular Lymington and just down the road from the beach at the friendly village Milford on Sea and stunning Keyhaven salt marshes. Start your day with the papers and a coffee outside in your private south facing garden (a real sun trap!) or in the modern kitchen/diner, with doors out on to the patio. After a day of beachcombing, sightseeing or cycling through the forest, sleep well in comfortable beds, between Egyptian cotton sheets. There is a stylish ensuite bedroom with king size bed. Perfect for small families or friends, there's also a twin room, with patio doors on to the garden and another bathroom with shower, bath, heated towel rail and towels. You'll find the kitchen well equipped, an outdoor table, chairs and cushions, for al fresco dining/relaxing. In the cooler months the underfloor heating throughout the whole cottage will keep you warm and toasty after a day exploring. There's a large TV and board games if you fancy an evening in. Die Lage ist perfekt, um sowohl schnell zum Strand, als auch in den Wald für Wanderungen zu gelangen. Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt im schönen New Forest. Ich liebe es dort. Eine kleine Anmerkung muss ich jedoch zur Unterkunft machen. Die Wohnung ist wirklich nett und perfekt aufgeteilt. Leider war bei unserem Aufenthalt das Geschirr, vor allem die Pfannen nich sauber und der Abstellraum und Schrank im Flur voll mit alter Bettwäsche. Schade eigentlich, da der Kontakt zum Vermieter und die Wohnung ansich toll waren. Ein Sonnenschirm für das Frühstück wäre noch super. Trotzdem würde ich wieder kommen und hoffe es war nur eine Ausnahme. ##### Nicole B. On arrival garden at front side and rear needed attendance untidy and overgrown. Not like photos. No bbq as in picture and details. But Emma did bring one and was helpful with information on area and restaurants. Nice touch her having left us a bottle of Prosecco but only 2 glasses for fizz which we did mention when saying thank you but no more appeared. No draws to put anything away in bedroom just small hanging space. There was a cupboard in hall which was full of spare bedding which could have been utilized for draw space for clothes. Location is relatively quiet and great for my infant and 3 year old - close to Peppa pig world (!), Various beaches etc. All on 1 level was very practical for us with great showers, well equipped kitchen and garden with BBQ.
