"Perfect for a couples weekend away! Excellent stay thank you all! So nice to sit on a terrace looking at the beach and sea, whilst eating a very good breakfast. Booked with our 12yo Labrador. Stairs were a tad steep but she was happy being carried up 😁 Staff are very helpful and the location is just stunning! We will be back"

"We were greeted with a handshake which is always a good start. Our hosts, Neil and Rosemarie were welcoming and eager to make sure our stay was a good one. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and shower. We were pleased with the coffee machine and the fridge on the landing for the cold milk. The small touches are what makes this hotel a special one. The bar downstairs proved popular to watch the world cup and we appreciated the hospitality during the evening. Breakfast was cooked to order and taken on the deck. The swimming pool was excellent. Car parking is easy and plentiful. One small point is that we would have appreciated a fan in our room which was very hot. Given the extremely high temperatures we are all experiencing it might be something to consider for the future. Otherwise everything was absolutely fine and of a very high standard."

"We really liked our stay, good location. We stayed in the Cobb suite, super comfortable, good sofa, tv, bed. Breakfast in a hamper was perfect, fresh hot croissants. My only complaint was the WiFi, kept going in and out.if your thinking about Lyme Regis I would definitely recommend."

"Great location. The place was exactly as advertised. Very quick communication. I had a little problem getting in at first, because of poor cell reception, so I couldn't get the code. I had to go to a place with wifi. It's not the fault of the property owner, just be aware that cell reception is difficult on this street. I would definitely book this location again."

Holiday Cottage with seafront beach hut - sleeps 4

"Cute little home that is well loved and maintained. We loved the little gatd for coffee in the morning. The host was very communicative. It was hot and we had windows open so it was loud outside as the property is right on the street. Loved the beach cottage! Notice though that the "shower" is a actually a tub under a slanted roof with a hand sprayer. My 6'5" husband had a very difficult time with the set up. But there really isn't any sort of option with the size and layout of the bathroom for anything else."

"Charming little cottage just steps from the beachside attractions. The cottage's "backyard" is a creek that provides a soothing acoustical background during your stay there. All the components have been tastefully updated from its previous incarnation as a fisherman's cottage (or perhaps as a budding paleontologist's lab) so you have access to modern creature comforts, but do note that the rooms are very small and the staircase to the bedrooms are probably not suitable for guests with ambulatory challenges. But this is a glorious place to stay if you find yourself in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, which is, deservedly, a world heritage site."
