The Farmhouse was absolutely perfect. The house was beautifully renovated and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you might need, the views are magnificent, it was clean, and my son enjoyed the animals. Lisa was very helpful and friendly. We hope to come back soon!

Memorial Day Getaway

Charming spacious farmhouse with modern and welcoming touches including fresh flowers, plenty of extra towels, freshly baked cookies (yum!), toys for kids, beautiful, scenic views. Quiet and relaxing with many amenities provided for a great time. We all enjoyed the ducks and the rabbits, the S’mores and Miss Minnie (the cat.)

We had a wonderful time at the farmhouse! Beautiful restoration with easy access to Luray and Shenandoah NP. Communication was easy, the house was more than comfortable and the outdoor house animals made it feel like home! Would absolutely stay again.

Perfect stay near Shenandoah

We loved our time at the beautiful farmhouse for our family trip to Shenandoah (Old Rag and other hikes). It’s impeccably renovated while maintaining the historic character and only minutes from Luray Caverns. Highlights for the kids (and adults) were the delicious homemade cookies, helping Lisa to feed the bunnies and ducks every day, s’mores in the fire pit and badminton in the back yard. Lisa was a wonderful host and we’re grateful to her for making our stay so special,

JMU graduation weekend

My family were visiting to attend my daughter’s graduation from James Madison University. The house was the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful views and escape the chaos of graduation. I was blessed enough to have my microwedding here, and wouldn’t change a thing! Everyone raved about how beautiful the property was. Watching the sunset on the back porch is something you read about in books! Great stay :)

Wonderful Farmhouse!

The farmhouse was very clean, beautifully decorated and truly welcoming! We spent many hours on the rocking chairs on the back porch looking at the beautiful mountains. There were homemade cookies waiting for us when we arrived which were delicious. We had a very nice visit in Luray. So glad we picked this rental.

Absolutely Fantastic!

The owner has done an amazing job restoring this old farmhouse, to retain all of it's rustic charm, but still have every modern convenience available. The location is perfect - we were truly "out in the country", but realistically only 10 minutes away from supermarkets, restaurants, etc. The area is so beautiful - with easy access to the mountains, as well as the amazing caverns in the area. What a great place!!!!

All around amazing

Stayed for a weekend with a group of friends. This property is fantastic. Lisa was a wonderful host and put so much effort into her property and her guests. This is definitely one of the best rental homes I've stayed in. It's super convenient to Luray and things to do in the area. Everything in the house from the cleanliness to the cookies at check-in were amazing. I highly recommend a stay here.
