Very nice property, although there are a variety of maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. The air conditioner in the first room we got was making a terrible niose and we had to get another room. In that room, the front door was difficult to open and close, and the hot water faucet in the sink never got really hot. The shower was OK. The receptionist was most courteous and accommodating which made up for the issues we encountered. A nice hot breakfast was served which was not the case in another motel in town that we stayed in several years ago. We will stay in the Black Gold Inn again the next time we are in town.

Black Gold Inn was a very nice place to book a stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking was great. Our room was clean and clean sheets on the beds. No noise or disturbances during the night. The parking was convenient and right in front of the door to our room. The breakfast the next morning was nice and there was lots of different breakfast items to choose; from eggs to cereal. Even though we didn't use the pool I noticed it was clear and looked clean. If you need a night or a few nights in the area the Black Gold Inn would be a nice place to stay.

We are so glad we stumbled upon this Hotel . Reviews were basically spot on. The rooms are huge, beds are comfortable. Two suggestions, time for new pillows and our rooms shower, #136, your shower water was either really hot or pretty hot. But honestly, the staff was beyond friendly and professional.

Powder cleaner residue was still in the tub, towels looked dirty but smelled clean. Room and hotel seems to have tons of potential to be very esthetic and quant with more up keep. Staff was super friendly and pleasant but over all seems to be a decent hotel for the town.
