Stay in the “historic centre”, a hop, skip and a jump from via Fillungo (Lucca’s main shopping mall) and Guinigi Tower, famous for the olive trees perched at the top of the tower overlooking the entire walled city. Located less than 200m from the walls so that you can easily join the “Italian Passeggiata” around the ancient walls anytime of day for a walk, run or bike ride along the paved 4.2km track that circles the entire city. Situated on the ground floor (walk in access - just 1 step up from the street) for those travelling with heavy suitcases or who find it difficult to climb stairs. With newly renovated rooms, free WiFi, TV with Chromecast, airconditioning, heating, washing machine and dryer (a rarity in Italy), this apartment has all the amenities you will need during your stay. The apartment has 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, kitchen (with oven, microwave and dishwasher) and a spacious lounge where you can rest and relax after a long days outing. My friend and I were in Lucca as part of our Tuscany tour. The space was spotless and there was so much room with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms lots of room to relax and spread out. Loved the outdoor space and laundry. Being in the historic centre we were close to everything from restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. This apartment in Lucca was absolutely perfect for our group; the fact it has 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms meant there was space for everyone. The apartment is perfectly located in Lucca, it’s a short walk from the train station, the wall, and all of the restaurants and sites within the wall. The apartment is spotlessly clean and the hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the welcome wine was greatly appreciated! The other thing we couldn’t have done without is the air conditioning!! Each room has its own unit, which was perfect.
