A quaint facility in an old cannery building. Rooms were roomy but long and a little narrow - obviously repurposed from the building's earlier life. Coffee and a full size fridge were in a common area, shared by all guests. The place is a little spartan, but that's also part of its charm. If you need to stay in the very sleepy town of Lubec, this place is fine for a night. We loved the Inn on the Wharf. The rooms are very basic but clean and smell clean. The water in the shower was hot and so nice. We had a view of the water from our room which was spectacular. The rooms do not have mini fridges but there is a common room that has a full kitchen and refrigerator and you can label your food and keep it there. We cooked both dinner and breakfast in the kitchen. Fisherman’s wharf restaurant is attached to the Inn and had amazing seafood. We loved everything about this stay! An ocean view room speaks for itself. If you are old enough to remember the Newhart show, that's the vibe - friendly, comfy, safe, relaxed, restaurant just feet away, staff that checks in on you - it was perfect. It's a short drive to West Quoddy Head Lighthouse (beautiful!) and Monica's Chocolates (delightful!).
