Location was great for walking to the water and food and shopping. Staff was there but not as warm as most hospitality staff I found. Maybe because we didn’t speak much English. lol. That’s on me. The closest town is Piriapolis, about 7 minutes' drive and the beaches there are very nice. The beach at the home is also nice for sunbathing, but it's very rocky and not suitable for swimming. There are restaurants up and down the coast and one winery close by, Cerro Del Torro, that offers lunch and tasting. The other wineries are about 90 minutes' drive, and we explored a few of them during our stay. Our host Bruno was very friendly and responsive as well. I would highly recommend his home."
