The best time to visit Loreto, Corrientes Province, is during the dry season, from April to October, for comfortable weather and excellent wildlife viewing. This period typically avoids the intense heat and humidity of the summer months (November to March), making outdoor activities much more pleasant. You'll find daytime temperatures are mild, usually ranging from 15°C to 25°C, with cooler evenings. The lower rainfall also means the trails are generally in better condition for exploring. For travellers primarily interested in wildlife photography, the months of May, June, and September are particularly good. During these periods, the water levels in the Iberá Wetlands are often lower, concentrating the animals around remaining water sources, which makes them easier to spot and photograph. The cooler temperatures also mean animals are more active during the day.Couples looking for a relaxing escape will find April and October ideal. The weather is still very pleasant, but you'll encounter fewer crowds compared to the peak wildlife viewing months, offering a more intimate experience.
