I especially loved the overall experience and the opportunity to spend quality time away from the daily routine. "Beautiful resort...the drive in through the golf course provided a beautiful sense of arrival. Valet parking is included in the room rate, so very nice to be greeted at the porte cochere and have our car parked for us. The front desk check in experience was seamless and the staff was very courteous and professional. Rooms are clean and well kept. Overall, a good stay...but unfortunately there were a few things that would likely have me looking elsewhere on my next trip to the Poconos: 1: I am not a gambler, so the casino was not really important to me. Being in the hotel business for 30+ years, I am well aware of the importance of the casino to a "casino-hotel" property...but it actually took away from my experience, because the smell of smoke permeated the entire resort, including all the way up to our non-smoking room on the 6th floor. 2: All food and beverage options are accessed through the casino. Again I understand, but the smell, the crowd and the noise distracted from the experience. 3: There was no "lobby bar" or other lounge area away from the casino floor. In fact, there was really no bar other than the one on the casino floor that was loud, crowded, and smelled like smoke."

"Overall we enjoyed the property. Only complaint was the hotel right next to the highway and yes, you can hear trucks through the night. Although, I’d still say this is the best of the 2 options at this exit. The breakfast was awesome! Great options, good food and clean! One person was tending to the food and making sure everyone was happy, which as really nice. Pool and work our area looked nice, but we didn’t use. And Wawa not to far!! I’d recommend if you’re in the area and need a place to stay."
