The Chautauqua Resort was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the easy beach access, nice breakfast, and pool. The kids, especially, loved all the swimming. This would be a great destination for a longer stay.

The last time I stayed here was in 1980's and I knew the property was older than some others in the area. I was impressed how well the rooms were kept up and decorated. The bed was so soft and comfy. The beach and ocean view was perfect too. The first free breakfast was good, cheese omelet was offered with sausage and gravy. There was not any omelets offered again.

Room 332 Very clean. The property itself was well kept and managed. Loved the view! Our room was on the third floor. Room came with a microwave, fridge, 2 living room type chairs, a table and 2 dining chairs, also chairs to place out on the balcony. They serve a buffet style breakfast every morning, very good and filling. The only thing I could complain about is the room we stayed in took 25min+ for the water to get warm enough to shower in then would get cold withing 5 min, so we were not able to shower for a normal amount of time. We would stay here again if we know for sure that our room is going to have hot water for showering/sink use.
