3.0 star property
Lanjaron
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (75 reviews)
"The hotel is basic, but clean and good for one night. Air conditioning was functioning perfectly. Breakfast needs at least 1 gluten free option and the staff need training on gluten free requirements. The main issue with our stay was the swimming pool. Nowhere on the listing did it say the pool is open to the public. This meant the pool was extremely busy and it was impossible to find a sun lounger or even a space to sit."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Lobras?
The best area to stay in Lobras is within the village itself, particularly around the main plaza and the surrounding streets.

Lobras is a small, traditional white village in the Alpujarra region of Andalusia, known for its peaceful atmosphere and stunning mountain views. The village is compact, with narrow, winding streets and whitewashed houses built into the hillside. The central plaza, often the hub of village life, is where you'll find the church and usually a small bar or two.

For couples seeking a peaceful escape, staying in Lobras offers an authentic experience. You'll be able to enjoy quiet walks through the olive groves, take in the panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada, and experience the slow pace of rural Spanish life. It's an ideal base for exploring the surrounding Alpujarran villages, such as Juviles or Cádiar, which are just a short drive away.

Families looking for a relaxing holiday will also find Lobras suitable. The lack of heavy traffic and the ability to walk to most places within the village provides a calm environment. Children can enjoy the open spaces and the novelty of a traditional village, while adults appreciate the chance to unwind.
