It was very noisy until the middle of the night with a bass beat pounding out across the road until about 3pm. During the week it might be much quieter so I wouldn’t rule it out then - but not on Friday or Saturday. We booked Hotel 46 because of the location and the reasonable price. We were arriving fairly late on Friday and were out early on Saturday, so we were booking just a room for the night. The staff were welcoming. We had 2 stages of security before reaching our room (door entry system), which was good. Everything was clean, kettle with teas, coffees, etc were provided, along with an iron/ironing board. Also TV with a very clear picture/Freeview, and Wi-fi available. It is situated approx. 5 mins walk from the main Town Centre and 10-15 mins walk from the University, so a very good location. Liverpool is a 'happening' city, so you have to expect noise, music, etc from surrounding area, but it is not overpowering. I would recommend Hotel 46\. Its not all 'bells and whistles' but good value for a 1-2 night stay. Great location! Would definitely return....hopefully my daughter gets a place at Uni!!!
