I did not feel safe or clean and could not get out of there fast enough. They just need to clean up the property more frequently. It will be great if there is central light in the dorm rooms. The bunkers can have a head light and extension plug for each bed. As an over hundred year old building, I think its condition is good enough. It is closed to Liverpool Central but on a quiet street. Suitable for weekend visit. People are friendly and helpful. I can tell some of the roommate stay there for long. They are working in the hostel and interact like family. However, as there is only one public toilet, it is difficult to manage cleanness. Luckily, their shower is not bad. I put a bit lower rate on eco-friendly because the shower cannot completely off and water keep dropping out. The bed room have more space than I expect and have open street view. As I slept in the upper bed, it was kind of shaky when I climbing down from my bed. They have TV in the lounge and I had watched live football match with other hostel visitors. Can't get a restfull night's sleep without people shouting loud and slamming doors. I would avoid this hostel.
