I stayed just the one night on business. I liked the history and general decor of the hotel - it has a nice, venerable atmosphere. My room was clean but showing its age a bit with loose fitments etc. The bed and pillows were quite hard but tastes vary on this. All fine really

Great staff and location. Walking distance to shopping, restaurant, and tourist attractions. I would recommend it to anyone. This hotel must have been something very special in its day. The bed was comfortable and room where clean the only complaint was that there was no where to plug my CPAP machine by the bed, so I just moved it closer to the plug in. Bring a mall cord just incase.

Great public areas and lounges in this grand hotel. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and good. Actual room was small and dated but clean and functional. Perfect location in the centre of the city, and great to stay in such a grand old hotel for a reasonable price.

It is an old building steeped in history. It is like travelling back in time, it is big, it is beautiful, it has marble panelling on the corridor walls. It is so convenient for the city centre and it is amazing value for money. Sadly yet another hotel that has sold its parking to the parking vultures who charge almost the price of a room to park in an awful car park that has not been looked after,

We stayed for one night, a Sunday, as a celebratory treat for our wedding anniversary. The Adelphi came up on searches based on location because we were going to see Marillion at the Philharmonic Hall. We were also intrigued to stay at the Adelphi because my late father stayed there many times in the 1980s with work. The building is stunning inside and out and a joy to stay in. The staff are friendly, helpful and happy. We had a great night in a beautiful room with a lovely buffet breakfast. So much food and choice and plenty of seating for quieter zone people too. Very reasonable priced stay for a Liverpool city stay. Well done Adelphi and staff.

Location couldn’t be bettered.Superb executive room,Massive proportions.Comfy king size bed.Great shower.Decor fabulous.Very opulent. Amazing state rooms. A n experience just to sit and admire.Bar was excellent with good prices. Very good entertainment on.Staff very polite.Building History unbelievable?Didnt have breakfast? A bit early for us.Would highly recommend this hotel.Great value midweek break?

Very clean.lovely newly refurbished bathroom. Probably the best shower I have had in a hotel room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient for the train and bus stations. Also museums all within walking distance. I would have liked a softer pillow but apparently they were all the same.But that was the only problem we encountered. The lounge is stunning.
