Casa Sol & Mar is a modern villa with sleek design, spread over three floors with fantastic ocean views. The house is on the top of the hill of the village, in a quiet area, with a beautiful view over the village and a spectacular sunset. Praia da Areia Branca beach is 5 minutes' walk down. (about 600 meters)

The house is equipped with a modern fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave and induction hob. There is a spacious and comfortable dining and living room.
The master bedroom is on the 2nd floor with fantastic ocean views. The room has a nice bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a dressing room with cupboards and drawers. On the ground floor there is a second room with a double bed with spacious wardrobe, also with a nice bathroom with shower and toilet; the third room has single beds (children's room) and wardrobe, and here too is a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. There is also a washing machine, dryer, iron available. There is a non-heated outdoor swimming pool and several terraces with garden furniture and sun loungers. There is also an outdoor kitchen with barbecue that you can use.
There is free Wi-Fi access, parking and garage are available.

You can do your shopping at the local market or go to Lourinhã, this is the nearest town 3.5 km away by car where various supermarkets are available (Lidl, InterMarché and Pingo Doce).

Casa Sol & Mar is located on the hilltop of Praia da Areia Branca village, ideal choice for those looking for a quiet holiday near the beach or for those looking for the perfect surf spot, a beautiful golf course or just to relax and enjoy the private swimming pool and the beauty of nature. The area is surrounded by green fields and spectacular steep rock walls.

Nearby attractions recommended by locals:

• Lourinhã - is 3.5 km away and offers a variety of restaurants. At Lourinhã you can visit the museum of the dinosaur era (more than 20,000 visitors annually come to this museum for its immense dinosaur fossil collection, as well as for archeology and ethnography exhibitions).
• Óbidos is 20 km away - a medieval city with a castle and many cultural activities.
• Peniche is 15 km away. You can visit a 16th century fortress that was built to protect this fishing village against pirates. Peniche is also known for its connection with surfing competitions. "Supertubos" surf beach is the best known. The coasts of Peniche and Baleal offer different beaches with waves suitable for surfers of all levels.
• From Peniche seaport there are also boat connections to the protected natural area of the Berlengas islands - nice to spend a full day.
• Ericeira also a famous surfing and tourist destination is 50 km away and the mystical Sintra village is a 60 minute drive away.
The nearest airport is the Humberto Delgado airport in Lisbon at 70 km, a 45-minute drive away.

Vacances magnifiques

Une maison superbe bien équipée avec une vue magnifique sur la mer et un calme absolu…repos garanti. Décoration simple et moderne avec tout le nécessaire pour 4 adultes et 4 enfants, à 5 minutes a pieds de la plage... Eve est une super hôte, à l’écoute et très gentille, nous recommandons cette maison.

Even better than it looks

This is a great place to stay. It’s even better than we thought. Sitting on the balcony watching the sea and having a drink was fantastic. This location would suit lots of people. Beautiful beach and easy journey to Lisbon. We would recommend it to all. Lots of little thoughtful touches throughout the house which just make the stay even better. Thank you.

Perfection!

Both the village of Praia de Areia Branca and this property are perfect locations for a beautiful holiday in Portugal. The house is luxurious and well appointed. The owner was available and attentive. The views of the ocean and countryside were spectacular. The village is a perfect place for a holiday that allows you to relax, go to the beach, and to explore many of Portugal's cities and historical sites. Great mix for a family vacation.

Fijn verblijf!

Een heel fijn huis van allen gemakken voorzien. Het contact met de eigenaresse en sleutelhouder waren ook top! Omgeving is voor een familie geweldig, voor ons als vrienden groep was het iets rustiger maar zeker niet te rustig. Hele fijne vakantie hier gehad!

Fabulous!

We have spent the most wonderful holiday in this beautiful, modern house. The views are great, the area is quiet, the heated pool is fantastic. The house itself is absolutely immaculate, provides very ample space and is extremely comfortable in every sense (beds, air conditioning, sofas, sunbeds, lighting, etc.). It is also highly organised, with laundry room, dressing room for the master bedroom, numerous sleek bathrooms (ensuite and other) and has a really great, well-designed and well-equipped kitchen, with generous dining area and the option to eat outside - all of which made for easy living whilst on holiday. The very kind host gave us a most warm and friendly welcome. Not only does the house provide all the mod cons you could desire for your holiday, the owner also lends sports equipment such as body boards and other sports gear. Our teenage boys really enjoyed borrowing these, in addition to having hours of fun with a vast rubber ring which was provided for the pool! In effect, everything has been considered, and provides the perfect holiday experience. The host also added many lovely little finishing touches to the house. Praia da Areia Branca itself is a very civilised resort and has plenty of good restaurants and snack bars/cafés, many of which are literally on the sea front. The beach is lovely - very clean. Driving was pleasant and the roads not too busy, with towns such as Ericeira, Obidos and Lisbon within easy reach. We would highly recommend Casa Sol & Mar. With very many thanks to our hosts for their hospitality and for a fabulous stay!

Magnificent!!

We had a GREAT time at Casa Sol & Mar! This house has everything; beautiful design, tasteful furnishings both inside and outside, fully equipped with all you need. Everything in mint condition (even better than on the pictures). The pool area was wonderful! The area around the house is calm and it's a short walking distance to the beach, surf schools, minimarket, bakery and restaurants. All in all a perfect place for our family (two adults+three kids age 6, 9, 13) but would definitely suit any constellation. Eve is a really nice and warm person who welcomed us in the best way and made us feel at home. We would love to come back and can really recommend Casa Sol & Mar and Eve as a host!
