Newly renovated on a private, streamside lot. Welcome to Sycamore! Our nicely refinished and decorated ranch home provides you with all the comforts you need. The streamside location (that's Mill Creek, one of the finest trout streams in PA) with private back yard space lets you stretch out and release a little before you go to town! You'll find easy parking and a few steps to the MAIN/BACK/REAR entrance. The rarely used front entrance has 3 steps and can only be open from the inside. There is plenty of space to roam, and I am working on creating a butterfly and pollinator garden! I have provided a fire ring for your use, however the wood is hit or miss on site. Sheetz sells it in bundles! Feel free to clear up any twigs on the grounds for kindling. There is also lockable storage in the shed behind the garage, bring your own lock! You might find a bike in there for your enjoyment as well! If you are looking at this listing, you probably already know a few things about Ligonier, and now you'll have found the perfect spot to enjoy all it has to offer! Very close by: Ligonier Camp and Conference center The Antiochian Village The Forks tavern - great deck and food Sheetz - we all know convenience at its best! The Wagon Wheel- billiards, food and bar Dollar General - more convenience 2.2 miles to town: It's Ligonier... Food, specialty shops, antiques, entertainment and more. Be sure to stop by the newest addition, The Tubmill Provisions and the Thistledown pavilion. Slightly out of town to the west is the infamous Idlewild Park and soak zone! Within a 45-minute drive: 3 ski resorts- Laurel Mt., Hidden Valley, 7 Springs Flight 93 memorial Fallingwater 4 state parks - Linn Run, Keystone, Kooser, Twin Lakes Slightly farther is Ohiopyle. I’m batting a thousand on the first at bat, and we’ll be back to stay here again. The house is picture perfect adorable, updated with modern amenities, and so thoughtfully appointed with everything you need. It’s clear the owners view their property through the eyes of the guests. The kitchen and bath are updated so nicely, the beds are comfortable, and the living room is spacious for our family of four to gather. But the back porch is sublime. I loved taking morning coffee from the kitchen Keurig machine and sit there in the mornings and relax. Easy check-in, and we were greeted with a home baked treat on the kitchen island. It felt like home from the start. This property is conveniently located to everything in and around Ligonier, by car.
