I only stayed here because I’d driven from SLC and there were literally no rooms anywhere. The reviews made it sound decent but it was far from that. At check in the front desk agent proceeded to complain about her job and told me how a guest shat all over the pool area the night before and management decided to leave it for her to clean when she went in the next evening. Talk about a biohazard! Never complain to the guests! I felt disgusted but didn’t want to keep driving so I had to stay there knowing it was probably filthy. The hallways hadn’t been vacuumed so I had an idea that my room wouldn’t be spotless. The ice bucket was nasty, the bathroom floor was full of hair and the tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the hotel was built so I couldn’t take a shower. Luckily the bed was clean. My advice to management is treat your employees better and put the sofa back! With a little training the girl who checked me in could be great but she was on her phone while I was talking to her (the computer was taking a long time) and didn’t hear a word I said. When I left the next morning a different girl was at the front desk and on her phone and didn’t say a word to me because she didn’t even see me.
