Firefly Cottage Summa

Summary:
This beautiful property is located right on the West Twin Lake canal in Lewiston, Michigan. There is a dock that is perfect for fishing from and a firepit to spend the evenings roasting marshmallows by the lake. Firefly Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and can sleep up to nine people. There is even a sandy beach area to play in. It is a great house for a Northern Michigan getaway on a lake!   

Dogs are allowed for an additional fee of $50/dog.


No cable TV,  but is a smart TV so you are able to use any streaming service you may have.

Check-in: 4pm
Check-out: 10am

Please note the bedroom with 3 twins is set up as bunk beds. 


A 4 digit code will be sent out the day before check-in and that is how you will enter the house.

There is a $50 cancellation fee that will be taken from the security deposit.

No events or parties.

We had a wonderful stay. Very clean, cute cottage. We had everything we needed. Loved the view of the lake. The host was very accommodating and great to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay AGAIN

This is our second time back at this property and it was just as great as it was the first time. We love the location and the quiet environment on the lake. It was very pleasant to have a bonfire and relax. We will continue to recommend this property to our friends and family and hope to return next summer.

Having a home on the water was awesome, we rented a raft for the week, your dock made that very convenient! spent the day cruising and relaxing on the sandbar! In the evening fishing the lily pads! We have been coming to Lewiston for years, having a home to stay in makes it special. Thank you!

Wonderful vacation!!

We stayed at Firefly Cottage for eight days, July 2025. It was absolutely fantastic!! The house is very roomy. It was very clean! The kitchen was huge and honestly, was better equipped than my own kitchen at home!! Great location. Communication with host was unbelievable!! We had a couple of issues…one was my grandson locking us out…and the host replied immediately, and had someone there within minutes to “rescue” us. I would strongly recommend this wonderful home!

Perfect Place on the Canal

The entire experience was PERFECT! Cottage was even better than the pictures! Cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. Host was great at communication!:) We will stay at her properties again!!:)

Cute cottage!

Cute cottage with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We brought our pontoon and were had a great space to dock it. Weather wasn’t all that cooperative but still enjoyed our stay. Were able to hit all of the great restaurants in the area, including Talleys, Lewiston Lodge and the Redwood. Never disappoints.

Firefly Cottage was wonderful! Absolutely spotless and comfortable. They have a fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms and outdoor amenities. The location is lovely and access to the lake is right there. We would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful and serene getaway

This property is perfect for a getaway up north. We loved the beach, firepit and the kayaks. It was nice to sit under the stars and relax in the evening. Would definitely recommend to our family and friends!

Perfect family getaway

The house was exactly what we needed for a week away! Great size, fun lake decor, appliances/kitchen items, plenty of space to spread out. The yard was perfect. Nice fire pit, chairs, table, grill, dock, sandy beach!! The lake was great for swimming, boating, fishing. We would definitely stay here again! The host was great! I did have trouble receiving some of my VRBO messages..but not her fault! She was quick to return my phone call.

A wonderful place for a family to spend a vacation. Location is great and the cottage is absolutely beautiful and very accommodating. Bailey was great. She communicated thoroughly with us before we got there and checked on us via email why we were there. Strongly recommend this for a vacation spot and we would certainly rent again.

Beautiful house, great location, so many nice touches that made it feel like home. We rented a boat, fished, went to Lewiston beach, and fished. Kids loved swimming and using the kayaks. Highly recommend this place!

Perfect weekend getaway

This cottage was very cute and spacious, perfect for a weekend getaway on the water up north! It very well stocked with extras of everything in case something was forgotten. We loved the fire pit and yard to play games. I would definitely stay here again & highly recommend this place to others :)
