This was capped with a couple of the said guest creating a fire in their room and activating the fire alarms at 3am in the morning and waking all the other guest who were forced to evacuate their rooms. The room was absolutely fine, albeit not particularly well insulated from the sound of other guests. I was a little disappointed with the food. Service was fine but my meal was no than average pub fare. I'm pretty sure my burger had been frozen at some time in its' life and would have expected something with a bit more flavour and a little less chew. My room has to be one of the smallest I’ve ever encountered. The main room was so small that the double bed only just fitted with a side table on each side. There was no other furniture in the room because there was no space. It’s annoying when you need to work. The bathroom was equally tiny with small shower cubicle. The door from the bedroom to the bathroom could only be partially opened as it snagged on the basin. The food was disappointing although the service was friendly. Breakfast was much better.
