"I was satisfied with my stay at the Motel 6 Minot. The motel building is surprisingly large. It's clearly not a new facility - some wear here and there - but it seemed clean and well maintained. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. My room was large, clean, and well-maintained. The only minor downside to the room was the view from my window (i.e., a bumper-level view of the side parking lot), but then again I didn't expect anything better. The motel does not offer breakfast...

"Only stayed there for night. Initially the room we were given smelled very strongly of cigars despite it being a non-smoking motel. The front desk was very nice though and gave us a new room. It's a very old motel and you can hear everything happening outside but luckily it was pretty quiet. Definitely heard all the sirens going by. The showerhead was very loose and chair was very stained and walls were plastic. "

"We paid for a room with a jetted tub but got a regular room. To be fair, I didn’t remember when we checked in that this was the hotel with the jetted tub, so I didn’t say anything. The sliding glass door from our room exited into an internal hallway, not the outdoors. That door would not lock, so we had to use a walking stick to secure it. On the other hand, the staff were very nice and the breakfast was pretty good - scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, bread, muffins, juice, coffee,...

"It’s pretty old, run down. It wasn’t cleaned the best, but I’ve been to a hotel where I slept fully clothed on top of the covers and I didn’t feel that was necessary here. It is cheap and it works for a night when you’re driving across the country and you need a place to sleep at 2:00 am. If you just need a place to catch some zzz’s and then get up and keep moving, and you want to stretch you dollars, this will work! "

"The room or the price could not be beat. The beds were comfortable and each person had their own private bedroom. The Breakfast had enough options for the length of our stay. Our only issue is our room was directly over the main hallway and you could definitely hear voices and doors closing. I would still recommend the place but try to avoid room 205. "
