"We absolutely loved our stay!! Such a beautiful place to stay, so peaceful and you’re surrounded by nature. The staff were so attentive and kind, the room is spacious and we loved the special touch of breakfast being brought directly to us in a picnic basket every morning (at a time we’re asked to choose)! Since every room has its own picnic table outside, we got to sit and enjoy breakfast in such a calming way. Also, Gevorg was especially welcoming when we first arrived and we appreciated that...

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Lermontov?
The best area to stay in Lermontov is within the town centre itself, particularly around the main square and along the M6 highway.

Lermontov is a small, compact town, so staying in the centre puts you within easy reach of everything. The main square is a focal point, often featuring local markets and community gatherings, and it's surrounded by a few essential shops and eateries. The M6 highway, which runs directly through the town, provides the primary access route and often where you'll find the most convenient accommodation options.

For travellers looking for a convenient base to explore the surrounding Lori Province, staying centrally in Lermontov is ideal. It offers practical access to the main road networks for day trips to nearby natural attractions like Lake Sevan or historical sites further afield. You'll find it easy to navigate and connect to the wider region from here.

Families might also find the town centre suitable. The general atmosphere is relaxed, and with everything being close by, it reduces travel time and stress when planning activities with children.
When is the best time to go to Lermontov?
The best time to visit Lermontov is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warm and sunny.

This period offers pleasant temperatures, ideal for enjoying the natural beauty of the surrounding Lori Province. You'll find it superb for exploring the nearby forests, hiking the trails, or simply relaxing in the fresh mountain air. The long daylight hours also mean more time for sightseeing and outdoor activities.

Families often find summer particularly appealing for a visit. The warm weather is superb for children to play outdoors, and many local guesthouses and resorts are fully operational, offering activities suitable for all ages. It's an excellent time for picnics by the river or exploring the Dilijan National Park, which is a short drive away.

Couples looking for a romantic getaway will also appreciate the summer months. The comfortable evenings are superb for enjoying quiet dinners outdoors or taking leisurely strolls.
