"Hotel with good potential but a lack of maintenance.
Our room was quite new, but common spaces were very worn and not so clean (ie windows, corners of the breakfast room, the outside of the hotel...)
It is a pity.
Reception personnel very helpful."

"Un joli cadre, un beau parc et une piscine agreable. Notre chambre était dans un petit appartement spacieux avec terrasse. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très bien garni de bons produits. Une très bonne adresse que je recommande."

"It was amazing. If you're looking for an authentic sicilian country side experience then this is it. The property is rustic but beautifully maintained. The room was large and had aircon. The breakfast was lovely. The gardens are divine and the pool area was great. Miss Anna was extremely helpful and so lovely. I wish we had stayed longer! It isnt near the beach, so if thats what you want then its not for you. Its up in the hills away from anywhere. Its so peaceful. 10/10"

"Beautiful area, only stayed one night but it was a friendly hotel and they were very helpful and attentive. We had an evening meal which was good value and well presented. The room was a little dark but the grounds of the hotel were dry well maintained."

Our host was incredible! he met us at the entrance to Erice. Dropped us off and the went back to park our car! He then recommended a place to eat, things to see and small villages to visit for the rest of our journey. Very comfy rooms, spacious and spotless. Will def return on my next trip to Erice.

Access was difficult because it was in the medieval village, but if you text the owner, he will help you. It was well worth it staying in this enchanting village. If you arrive in the afternoon, parking may be difficult due to the amount of tourist traffic. Again, contact the owner who will advise you.
Carmelo, the owner was SO helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

Cute hotel - our room windows opened & had beautiful views of the sea & Erice. Clean & comfortable. Family run & very friendly & helpful. Easy to get to Erice & Trapani. We walked into town for dinner & had a great meal.

Superb hotel! Definitely recommended. Parking was super easy & right beside the hotel. Erice is a beautiful city so if you have the opportunity to get there, I highly recommended you go to Il Carmine

We miss Villa Zina! My husband and I were originally only supposed to stay for 2 nights and then move to a different hotel, but we ended up extending our stay for another 6 nights. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, from the front desk staff to the restaurant staff. We were so impressed by how clean everything space was kept. Beautiful pool! Tasty breakfast with lots of options. The gym was a bonus too :)

Owners were helpful and charming . Nice grounds. Gated free parking. Beautiful beach short drive away with smaller tourist area. Car helpful in order to get around. Traditional Sicilian breakfast. Tasty and ample food. ( Especially the homemade cake! ) A bit less touristy than some other areas and a great way to break up some travel time and relax.

This property is located in a very quiet area with not much to see in the immediate vicinity so you need a car if you want to visit the surrounding area. The hotel itself is small and lovely. The grounds are very well maintained and the pool area is a great place to just chill out. It is nice to wake up and see the olive trees outside. The onsite restaurant has a delicious breakfast and tasty dinner options. The staff was definitely the highlight for us. Everyone was so warm, welcoming and...

Wonderful stay at Hotel San Michele We had a lovely stay at Hotel San Michele in Trapani. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Signora Anna was amazing! So helpful and friendly. I felt like she was a long lost relative. The rooms were large, clean, beautifully decorated and the breakfast was absolutely the best. I will definitely return.

The best area to stay in Lentina is the historic centre, particularly around Piazza del Duomo and the streets leading off it.
This area is the heart of Lentina, known for its beautiful Baroque architecture and its pedestrian-friendly streets. You'll find the stunning Lentina Cathedral on Piazza del Duomo, and the surrounding lanes are home to a variety of traditional trattorias, local artisan shops, and charming cafes. It's a very walkable district, making it easy to explore the city's main attractions on foot.
For couples looking for a romantic getaway, the historic centre offers an ideal setting. You can enjoy evening strolls past illuminated historic buildings, dine at intimate restaurants, and easily access cultural sites like the Civic Museum and the Roman Theatre. The atmosphere is relaxed and great for a leisurely holiday.
Families might also find the historic centre appealing due to its convenience. With many amenities close by, including gelato shops and parks, it minimises travel time and keeps everyone entertained.
When is the best time to go to Lentina?
For most travellers, the best time to visit Lentina is during the shoulder seasons of May, June, September, and October.
During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm, ideal for exploring the historic sites and natural beauty without the intense heat of mid-summer. You'll find fewer crowds compared to July and August, meaning a more relaxed experience at popular attractions and easier access to restaurants. The sea temperatures are also very agreeable for swimming.
Couples looking for a romantic getaway will appreciate the quieter atmosphere and comfortable temperatures in May and October. These months offer lovely conditions for leisurely walks through the old town, dining al fresco, and enjoying the scenic views of the surrounding countryside.
Families travelling with children might prefer June or September. The weather is consistently warm enough for beach days and outdoor activities, but the peak summer rush has either not yet begun or has started to subside.
